Topic: Tyrant / [DEV] Sunder Description and Preview

Sunder is death to all fear decks and maybe HOC, Mobile Command or Test of Mettle. But it does very little against current meta with Rigs, wallstall or Mantis.

Topic: Tyrant / [DEV] Regarding Faction Levels

It’s not just about cards, heck give us level 20 factions anything to aim for anything at all would be enough. It’s true that right now top factions competing each other for ranking but little reward is not that hard to make.

- new cards ( introduced everytime one faction reach that level so that card will not be outdated like widowmaker); you can just open card creating contest like before and I’m sure you will get some balanced and amazing card

- Alt art cards

- Energy Refill, gold, permanent stamina booster

- Title

Seriously, anything would do

make every single cards in game unique, problem solved. No more sabre spam, rig spam, EQG spam, zarak spam, MW spam, Monarch spam, TI spam, sycophant spam and it will actually make deck building fun. Remember the days when clasic strike deck shone, all cards there are mission rewards and unique.

Now people will do it because they enjoy it. Not because they have to do it or fall behind on the meta.

Tokens are the only way that free players can keep close to the success that WB players have. Conquest was forcing factions to participate otherwise they would fall further and further behind.

“to enjoy” it sounds nice but in reality, a lot less players will be willing to invest in the vast higher activity requirements of conquest when they can just join a high level faction and twiddle their thumbs.

Even crazy ppl like those in WB who don’t care about tokens will have no reason to conquest as all the juicy competition will be skipping conquest altogether.

Everyone kept saying " for fun this, for fun that"; risk versus reward, it would be a illogical to try to dominate in conquest. If this change goes live, expect conquest map becomes barren waste land. WB is crazy but they’re not stupid beyond logic.

rainbow decks do well… also fear decks aren’t really harmed by having her. And she can be misleading. Think you are going against a slow roll/wall stall, and BAM FEAR!

Wallstalls like having commanders that can take hits.

Basically, you can play her with just about everything.

my experience with moya has been this: when i’m using her for a wallstall, she doesn’t have siege so i pretty much always lose to another wallstall deck with a siege 1 commander. when i’m using ti, she survives for longer, but i’d rather have the heal 2 from morgan to keep things alive to drop that vial and seal the deal. in raider slow roll decks, i’ve lost 90% of the time to any form of augmented strike (basically a sabre in the first 3 drops equals a loss). i played around with dfa/vortex for a bit, and it does help, but the pierce 3 from sabres, which blows through pyro rig’s armor is just killer. however, raider slow roll does very well against every other type of deck so maybe i’ll just settle with it for now, and accept the losses to sabres

by far the best commander if one has cardpool to build good deck around it.

- upgraded destruction + cyclops and WWF could take care of wallstall unless u have very bad draw
- Raider slowroll deck, be more flexible with cards combination. You don’t need mono raiders, use Aegis, Mending Sanctum, Monarch, charged purge. Just need one Pyro Rig goes active.

Moya is also an auto win against TI, GS and Concussive Guards; with Atlas it’s 50/50 if evade or jam activated. It also nullify those annoying HOC summon crush.

As much I like the increased stamina cap idea, my idea is not for an increase stam cap but for the establishment of a collective stamina pool for every faction. This pool of stamina can be upgraded if a certain number of faction components are purchased. The limit to how many times a faction member can use this stamina pool to participate in PVP is directly related to that member’s loyalty.

And a bunch of unrealistic ideas. I like BeerBaron idea the most although with conquest sharing the same stamina bar, thing can be complicated for faction stam management ( again it’s our end, not your end so I suppose whichever faction manage more efficiently win)

I admit I haven’t seen your suggestion on this, but your REASONING is absolutely spot-on and we truly believe a stamina cap solves (or at least mitigates) the given problem. -Yes it can make or break a SINGLE war or invasion, but not multiple ones. This does not encourage account sharing at all because the cap is shared over time. You’re wrong.

- I was replying to Sean post 28 minutes ago when he suggested to buy stam upgrade with WB or gold, my bad I quoted the wrong one.

- You are right in conquest since FP gain/loss are the same but in faction wars it’s different since FP gain/loss depends on ranking hence each war has different priorities.

In Heroes of Kung Fu, your dojo (faction house, if you will) was only open for six hours per day. Your faction could only be attacked while the faction was open. The faction leadership could change the hours that they dojo was open. This allowed the leadership to plan for defense.

This idea would not be plug-and-play with Tyrant, however. I think it could be viable for Faction Wars, but I don’t see how it could work with Conquest. So, as long as FW and CQ are linked, I don’t know that it would work.

6 hours = 1 war, 2 factions could trade wars all day and save stam for CQ.
