Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Naviage] Seriously...
Hi,
Just making a new thread to remind you of an old one…posted more than one month ago. Indeed, lionturtle asked you about events or improvements in the games and you kindly answered with a kind, yet stereotypical, “The comment has been submitted to the technicians”. Well…here we are, time has passed, players left and still no moves from your side.
I know that any comments I could make won’t change anything but still it’s getting on my nerves. In my naviage player opinion (which I humbly consider as representative of most player on this game), you really should reconsider your way of managing this game. You have a core community of players on this game which is sadly getting weaker…not because of the game itself but because there’s nothing done on your side to keep the game dynamic. Naviage itself is a really good game. It could be perfected of course and that in many possible ways, but that is not the point. What is at stake is your (the game management and development team) immobility. I’m being aware you already heard same kind of critics on powermmo forum…but I’m telling myself “where the reasoning fails maybe the repetition will succeed”.
This is absolutely not a “raging post”, I enjoy this game and plan on keeping playing it as long as the server is up. What is bothering me is that this server is not meant to last in your opinion as it seems. There’s not much to do to change this state of fact but you seem really reluctant to do it. Maybe you could just trigger events on a more regular basis. In case you haven’t played any MMOs (this could explain a lot) most of them don’t spend a month without one. Other way would be to improve the game by, I don’t know, creating new missions, balancing difficulty, creating an equipment forge or whatever…I know it’s revolutionary but spy on the concurrence (we promise we won’t tell anyone) it’s what they usually do to bring new players and keep a part of the ones they attracted. Just remember, if you think “player=money” that being true or not, “no player= no money” is for sure.
That being said, I did it with little hope and I already know what possible answers I can get from it. It’s sad to see such a waste of a decent game.
Cordially.
