I have thought about it when the talisman was first available, but when mystics and fallen are dropping in minuets because of the talisman being used once per battle round. Just imagine how quickly they would drop if the top players had a bank full of dolls.

Wow, a good idea. Quick get me the aspirin and a nitro tablet, I think I’m having a heart attack!

But in all seriousness, skipping a blue hero should at least decrease the purple counter by 300 (like using a tavern card). Giving a purple outright for a skipped blue would break the system, but I feel that 300 on the refresh counter would be fair.

That’s your personal choice. It isn’t as if they are getting hit protection for no good reason. It keeps players from being farmed too badly. And if they are constantly under protection, then do you really need to spy them all that hard?

They can only hit you a max of 3 times a day, and even if you are losing res, it doesn’t add up to much anyhow. Besides, with enough attacks on you, you will have hit protection as well.

Peace is different. You play a peace card, you cannot hit pvp.

The largest problem I see here is that ultimate game progression comes down to luck. Whether or not you can get that item, get that hero from a tavern refresh, or be lucky enough to have logged in at the right time.

Luck can keep people playing in the short run, but if you are in a game, trying to progress, and seeing all of your time put into something for little or no return, it gets frustrating.

There is no way to acquire more powerful equipment or heroes beyond luck. Coupons are not the fix for this. They are based around it as well, even if it is in a round-about fashion. (cannot get more coupons if you don’t have the player power, cant get more powerful without coupons)

The work-around to all this is gold, real money. I understand that this is meant to be a profit making game for the developers, and I, like (I am assuming) the majority of players here, am OK with that. What I am not OK with is the shamelessly high prices.

In the recent update you (PM) made rare and unique items in the mall available for purchase with gold, good move. Where you went wrong was with the price. Just earlier there was a lvl50 blue armor in the mall, the lottery had run, and the item was available for the price of 124 gold! No person in their right mind would pay that, so in essence what was done was increase the number of appearances of the items, but reduce the number that actually make it into circulation. Even though the items can technically be bought, I see the chance of that actually happening slim to none.

For the casual player, or the player just starting out, it is too difficult to be competitive in the current system. I am not saying that a player who has spent nothing should be able to compete directly with one who has spent hundreds of dollars, but there is no middle ground. There are a handful of galaxies that can run the gambit, and dominate completely, then there are those who cannot.

I’m not saying give stuff away, but make it actually attainable within a reasonable period of time. 9000 on the purple tavern timer is not reasonable.

so increase the cap idea to 40% instead of 30. Basically the idea is that it should take more than a single strong member of a guild for them to earn the bonus. I think its perfectly reasonable that any guild could pull of 20% of a bosses HP if 2 of their members do 80% of the damage. Since only 1 point is required to get the bonus for winning, if the rest of the guild cant manage that last 20% over the period of 4 days they dont deserve the bonus.

It isn’t really about the bonus, its about the item drops. If a guild has only one or two players that can hit the faction boss hard enough to kill it (a few high 80, and maybe one low 90 player), but not solo it in an hour, then the guild probably will not be getting more than a 3-5% bonus over the weekend.

The bonus is not the draw here.

As Kingk has touted this as a lvl 73+ area, realistically it is an area for players 8-10 levels higher. (Sure, there will be an oddball, ungemmed lvl73 that will cap the boss, and if they do, I hope to God that they are in a guild that can actually kill the thing, so that the poor guy/girl gets a drop for their hard work.) As this area grants decent mob xp, the boss is still too hard to make this area a draw for developing, or even well established guilds. I think a damage cap would deter borderline guilds from participating seriously.

As it sits now, there are 7 guilds in the first area with double digit boss kills, and 4 times that amount with less than 10, the majority of those with less than 5 boss kills. If the damage a single person does gets capped, I can only see the number of single digit boss kills going through the floor.

The guilds with more than 10 are strong enough player-wise that they will probably still do the same damage across the board. A cap will only hurt the players that are with a guild that is struggling for their 1-5 kills. And as I have said before, these players are not generally in it for the xp bonus, if they by chance end up on the winning side, it is a nice perk, but the items are what make it worthwhile.

If you do believe in a damage cap, then make it at 70-90%.

PS.

I still believe there should be drops granted for caps at the conclusion of the faction war cycle, regardless if the boss is killed or not.

This is a terrible idea! To a guild with only 2 or 3 players who can do real damage to a faction boss this would make FW completely useless.

Conversely, players should get drops for a partial kill. If the boss gets capped but not killed by the end of faction war, the players should not be penalized for not being in a guild not strong enough to take down the boss.

Finding eggs seems kinda worthless when there is nothing but garbage inside em. Rotten eggs is more like it… Today’s haul was 1 int pill, 1 dex pill, and the rest absolute trash. Not even a blasted pink crystal.

I would like to be able to abandon a completed side quest, having a demon gate or a cactus side quest active is a hassle to scroll through because i accidentally clicked the wrong quest to reactivate.

How about letting the GM or GO’s pull gear from inactive players? Given a period of time that the player has been inactive, their items should be forfeit to the guild. Therefore the items if enchanted heavily, or rare for the guild, they don’t go to waste.
