Also the “smell the glove” faction, didn’t know they ever really existed or died, but Spinal Tap factions always welcome imo :)

completed all using two (old) decks without needing to mix things up. Other oldies were no doubt the same, hence no need to post on fansite….

so, after playing this game since day one, I finally managed to pull myself away and plan to take a long time off.

too many awesome people I’ve had the privilege of meeting along the way to list them all here, but massive thanks to you all for making this game fun :)

I got recruited at level 25, back when Xeno Slowroll was “the best” deck, by the faction Sweet Heresy. I climbed the ranks before finally taking over leadership. Always tough though that way, especially getting new blood and training them up, hence the need for a new start.

About 1.5 years ago now I created “The Retirement Home” – a chilled place where high level players could chill together, discuss what they wanted, no LP commitment or aim for top 10. Just enjoying the game to max potential without any real pressure. As you can see, that worked and my retirement plan turned out to be far longer than my “high active” time!

But even then, all good things come to an end, and for me it’s time to take a break and focus on my work in RL. Wish everyone all the best and maybe see you around again some day :)

I’m kinda using a mix of the ones posted, but grinding 252. Also that deck allows me to beat most quests. I think that’s the reason, the 251 deck can help with quests better than the 252 deck in general, finding one good enough for both is the key I think :)

I remember the elements forum had a really nice system in place for new card designs/submissions. And once every blue moon one would be implemented. Not sure that would work here, but was enjoyable and I created quite a few card ideas :)

Event is (thankfully) all over and done with. So now what? back to gold grind I guess….but since the event there’s been new upgraded cards and even a new card set out and everything!

So, what’s the best mission to grind, and with what deck?

I’m the same pip, couldn’t help myself and went for that collectors problem of buying all cards (especially that Omega).
Not sure about DW, and I’m the same, don’t get valentina, but think she’s only useful if you have a couple, so that’s my aim. That aside, obviously another HoC would never be a big mistake, if you’re stuck for ideas

pfff, man, the best days were long before any of that rubbish came out. let’s take it back to just gold, enclave and nexus packs, and get rid of all the buffs.

It’s clearly based upon many similar decks for HoC 3 and no doubt others found it too. I posted it here to say it works quite well as a universal deck for all quests, which is something I’ve only found out the last couple of days (been obv using this deck since start of event).

As to fansite, I’ve never been ungrateful for their hard work and support it by joining in and registering etc. For a while I even had a well-voted deck for the hydra raid etc. Everyone knows you can’t have two IMs so it’s not even that big a deal imo…

firstly, I’m really lazy.
secondly, I’m so lazy I tried my event deck against daily quests, and works quite well tbh, so here it is to share (for all those others with only 1 zarak etc)

PS: whilst doing this I realised fansite lets you have two Iron Maidens in a deck, one of each version!

No-one can keep up with the metagame. More cards, trying to leech WB from the players that pay as quickly as possible.

I suppose its too much to ask to actually fix things that are impacting gameplay, the tournament bugs, something to make faction play worth it again, like fixing damn conquest which has had one botched lazy ass attempt at a fix already?

Or maybe actually communicating what your ‘roadmap’ is. If its just more of the same with decks of 50% rares/legends and no chance to even get close to being able to get most of these before the next crappy expansion comes out, then why bother?

Come on Devs start actually making the game playable rather than continually grasping for money otherwise the whales will swim away.

just seems slightly one-sided background, just cautious about that and trying to make friends…doesn’t always fit.

And I was leader of TRH, and was talking to more or less every leader/top officer involved at the time. Proper pissed me off as conquest disrupted my retirement!! :p
