adv0catus, perhaps we’re not talking about the same thing. What I mean is on every single Kongregate game. On the right of the game, there are tabs for chat / game / achievements / awards, and the ‘chat’ one opens automatically. I’d prefer an option to turn it off completely.

Suggestion 1: It seems the only way not to see the ‘activity feed’ is not to have friends on Kongregate. That’s really a shame, and I hope you consider changing it. To anybody I recently befriended, for the sake of Outernauts or other games, my sincere apologies, you’ve all been removed.

Suggestion 2: Whenever you go to a game, the ‘chat’ tab automatically opens. I’m sure this is useful for many people, but some, like me, never use the chat. I suggest having a way to turn the chat off. This would save processing power and make it faster to load games on slow computers.

I’ve started playing this again after a long break. Not being a guild member, it’s really limited and hard to advance :(

I’m stuck in combat! Fighting against Sacrecog, who heals itself faster than I can injure it. Can’t run away because it’s in the infinite dungeon. So it just goes on and on. Will my adventurers eventually just starve and faint?

Possible bug (or am I just thick?): I’m in the bandit camp in the North Desert but can’t find missing supplies. After battling and defeating the chief bandit, I got a ‘reload flash’ type message. Refreshed a couple of times. Yellow arrow still points to chief bandit, he keeps asking if I’ll join the bandits, but no supplies anywhere. Am I missing something or is there a bug here?

Whoops – bugtime! Yesterday I bought my first extra guardian space so I could have a fifth guardian. Today when loading I got an error message – ‘too many guardians’. When loading the ‘my guardians’ page it shows 0 guardians, but they’re still there in the team. Any help appreciated.

If you have no friends, you don’t get the activity feed. Since I’m here to play, not socialise, that works for me. Crap solution though.

I really like logging on to Kongregate and seeing my recently played games, badge of the day and my recommended badges.

I have no interest in the activity feed. This is not facebook, nor should it be. Please allow us to hide the activity feed completely.

Not sure if this is related or not, but I also use FF (12.0) and recently I’ve had a lot of problems with badges not being awarded, and “best so far” not being updated as I go. I wonder if this is the same problem?

The new profile layout is fine by me, I have no strong feelings one way or the other. EXCEPT, as others have said, I really don’t like the facebook-inspired feed. I’m here to play games, not for others to track my activity, thank you very much!

Thanks for the response, saybox. I appreciate that Kongregate doesn’t get money from branding and other in-game advertising. However, that doesn’t change the fact that I already see many ads and don’t want to see more. So the ad-blocker stays, I’m afraid.
