How about replacing alien gear with crystal, xyphite, orc…etc gear for higher levels? Like completely take out alien gear once you hit level 80+ and replace it with items more suitable to the level and worth more coins.

That already happens.

But these kinds of builds are for you to come back and upgrade to once you’ve made progress on Metro and Mainland.

And right now with Fallout 4, I close my browser to preserve RAM. I could leave it open, but the knowledge that Reactor Idle runs at such low speed demotivates that thought and so I mostly depend on fast ticks for progression.

This is an actual bug, it not running while you open a different tab, the offline progress is not required for an idle game however. I hope the bug that it runs less efficiently out of tab gets fixed soon though

I’m new to java script and HTML5, but it should be a viable option without too much reworking of the code or interfering with other aspects. As far as the research, maybe allow for money to be put towards research at a low rate so if you can make more money then research for an area, you can still get some research without clearing the whole map. Or a level 3 research (idk if there is one that I haven’t unlocked yet as I am just getting to metropolis) that gives a bonus to nearby research as well as its own (like combining an office and a bank) so having a full map of research is much more worth it.

For the upgrade cost, some things are meant to scale like boiler houses to encourage people to move on to advanced items and setups. Maybe a small reduction in the multiplicative increase with upgrade costs (i think gen effectiveness is 1.5x the previous cost) or after a certain level it reduces from 1.5 to 1.4 for example to prevent the late game from slowing down so much.

And the fast button being slow, again is limited based on your computer strength and may be able to be used the same way that offline could be like I described above. Another option would be instead of more ticks/sec, have a research and power multiplier, so chronometer 1 would give 2x production with 1 tick/sec instead of 1x production with 2 tick/sec, or have the option to do either since some people have very slow computers.

And while I’m writing a post, I would like to see heat distributed a little more evenly, but I know that is hard to do without using a lot of the CPU unless the dev can write functions to detect symmetries but that’s asking a lot. Overall, there are things that can be changed and improved, but it is still a well designed game.

Edit: Actually for heat distribution, make the option of having heat exchangers have a certain amount of heat transferred out each face, so people can put in the time to ensure every generator gets exactly the same amount of heat. If you look at the little image when you hover your cursor over the heat exchanger, the top exchanger would output 25% left, 25% right, and 50% down. The bottom exchanger would output 50% left and 50% right. Possibly add a step system so any exchanger labeled 1 would distribute their heat first, those labeled 2 would be next, etc.
