I’m trying to look for where Time IS. not how to change it, (well that too, but you get the idea.) This thing has got about 50+ AS files, and I know nothing about which one is which, also, what’s a Tweener? xD

Hey, My friend made a mini flash game where you’re supposed to geuss to when give the grenade to the other person at the rght time, so it explodes right when they get it. Anways, he made it a little too hard by making it exactly at that time, or else it will explode if it’s too late, or the other guy will give it back to you and then it’ll explode. Anyways, I found that out and asked him if I could look into the code myself and change it, xD. Since I’m actually a complete noob, I have no idea how to find it. I did, though, find something that said ” if Time == (forgot what it said here, not the time though) then say, “you lived!”

It definently was NOT like that, but I basically know what it means, anyways. Is there some sort of way of finding that Time thing, like by right-clicking it, and going to where it was made, or something? xD

Anyways resflame, try Blue Voda, google that up, it’s an insanely easy program(built like Word) that helps you make websites, and publishing is just a click away. It even has tutorials on almost everything to make it even more easier.

Well, replying to what you said. You’re post is insanely smart, every bit of it I read had some real knowledge in it, like you knew what you were talking about, (not that I’m saying other’s posts we’re dumb, you know what I mean), and I would definently like to hear more of your opinion, maybe personal experiences, etc.

Um, wow, no, milskidasith, If you would like to check again, I actually posted saying that that I won’t get the credit, and the devs, artists, etc., will.

I’m getting tired from hearing people say ideas are worthless, or saying you need something more than ideas. Of course you need more! But without the idea, you can’t do anything else! On some posts before, I had replied to, “ideas are worth 99 cents” by asking him to explain how Google came about, if ideas are really worth that much. Another person replied with, “it isn’t the idea, it’s the execution.” I agreed with him at that time, I was wrong. Without the idea, there is no execution! If anyone wants to reply with saying that anyone can think up ideas. Well, that’s the great part about it! Everything we are right now started with ideas. Language, tradition, the advancement of technology, all started with ideas! Small ideas evolve into something greater. Like programming, for example, it didn’t just start with C++, it evolved from basic commands.

Now, this is the part where I completely agree with the developers, and anyone that works hard for those people with just the ideas. You definently should have all the credit! No question about it, and you should definently have the greater profits. But Jesus, guys, you wouldn’t have any profits in the first place if it weren’t for the guy who had the idea. Everybody knows that the developers, artists, etc, have all the work and do the hardest part of the job, making the game, or executing the idea. But don’t think you should think the guy with the idea as nothing, think of him as the manager, he is the one who sets up what to do and when to do it. And if he doesn’t do anything, and just expects you to make his game, then he’s someone you shouldn’t work with.

So, for any replies I just want to here people’s opinions on this, and any questions that you want to ask. For fun, you can try to disprove me here by stumping me with some questions. BUT, don’t post pointless crap, just to increase your post count. One last thing, don’t post common sense questions like, “what if it’s a useless idea?”, No one needs that, so don’t post it. Anyways, I hope I changed someone’s opion of ideas, reply with all you got!

umm. You completely evaded my question. I’m asying that my post said it was a stick idea,(and later on, said it would be more human related), and it would be online, and now YOUR posts said that your idea would be a stick idea/humanlike, and it would be online. Care to explain?

Now there is the answer I was looking for! But without the idea, there is no execution, :D plus, the only execution Google had to do was upload there site, (and they made the logo too), they just used the search engine Yahoo had.

That’s all I said here, and if you read the entire thing, I said,” I’m not getting into more detail with the game here so no random leechers can still the idea.” I’ll go into more detail at http://www.beastgamer.com/SGForums. and yes, Nqkoi1, I do agree with you completely, stickman ideas can be fun, but never have that potential. Who knows, I might change them into something more human related. It’s more than just a stick fighting game.(even if it is the basic idea).
