We intentionally did not attack the center
Your opinion is valid. But due to the nature of this game, they don’t have a “private” beta phase, right? Maybe they mean something like active/interactive development? But that’s a lot of syllables and letters to jam into the client…
I’d rather risk some quirks and have the game keep evolving than have it remain stale and lose my interest. Or maybe it should lose my interest, then I’ll have a lot more free time…

We intentionally did not attack the center

Now, I know BS when I see it.
Contacting the devs about it is probably worse than contacting ‘other factions’ about it, and your faction chat showed a want to keep it from other factions.
Also, one last thing – if you know it’s an exploit, if you know it’s a bug, if you’ve reported it, if you’ve reported it again, WHY WOULD YOU KEEP EXPLOITING IT?
But alas, it matters not. Now that you’ve become more hated than WB’s tile blocker factions, you’re probably about to have every tile you have eaten by another faction.
Quick! Someone take 1E, 0!
Contacting the Devs to ask how to proceed seems perfectly reasonable. Not sure how that’s worse than contacting other factions, when you can see how other factions behave. So much anger, so much hate, so much taking a game and a BETA Function too seriously.
The original post where someone said not to talk openly about it seems to allow people to blame Nooblinz for everything. If I say in faction chat, “Guys, we could beat the whole server.” and then someone posted a forum topic about that, is it fair that the whole server attacks my faction because “my whole faction” said they could beat everyone? Since when is faction chat a public forum?
There’s also the issue of context. It’d be one thing if the leader was taking a public stance, then sure, blame the faction. But a single member in faction chat? Seems WAY blown out of proportion.
But, haters gotta hate, and Tyrant has more than its fair share.
Much love to the Devs, for fairly solving the problem and seeing through all this angst.

[BUG] EARLY INVASIONS POSSIBLE AGAIN
What bug was PAAA exploiting? As far as I can tell, all the Noobling faction is doing is simply what is in the framework of the game. Declaring conquest attacks. Are you saying they’re doing some trick that others can’t do, to gain an advantage that other factions don’t have? Because it sounds like THAT is what the other faction was banned for. Not just playing the game in the same way as other active factions.
Now, if only they’d ban trolls that are only out to make others suffer…
Luckily neither you, nor I, will get our way.
Your expectation for the developers to rampantly punish people for a small mistake they made in coding seems a bit asinine. Conquest specifically says, BETA, does it not? So there will be bugs. If the threat of playing something in BETA was bannings and/or losing access to the game… That just seems like poor customer service.

[BUG] EARLY INVASIONS POSSIBLE AGAIN
1) The chat is not fake.
2) The bug is more widespread than the previous conquest bugs. This doesn’t require lucky timing, a stale web browser, or anything else. You just attack tiles and keep going. They weren’t using exploits to beat tiles faster, they just had more active players.
3) If this were in your faction chat, would you tell the person, “Tell everyone! Go to the forums, post ASAP!” The Devs were notified. The comment to keep it quiet was probably to avoid fanning the flames of posts such as this. With extremists shouting for the banhammer in response to every message, can you blame them.
4) If you look at the rankings, Nooblingz doesn’t even have the most tiles. And if you want people who have too many tiles to be banned, you’re going to be banning a lot of factions before the bug is corrected.

[DEV] Removal of Components Announcement
Without Nexus beacons in Raids, I’m afraid that some raids will be much harder to complete. It’s a tragedy when you dump all your energy, are set to get max honor, and a raid fails…

Fresh Jotun, will declare private when there’s enough people, so everyone has a decent shot at max honor!

[Dev] Consortium call
Geeze Masta, if you’d waited 4 minutes, I could have nominated you before you had to post…
ahem
Iamthemasta, SSS1, Darkblood1, Moraku, Kevinchan2, Hunterhogan.
They are all being nominated for various and different reasons.
Iamthemasta is insanely experienced at tournaments.
SS1 and Moraku have developed a lot of software/web-interfaces to make the game MUCH smoother for players.
The other three frequently contribute to the community and clearly love the game more than they should.

It’s no longer private, plenty of time for another person or two to get max honor, will obviously finish at this point =)

Providing a couple of screenshots of somebody being at the top of the list in a hand full of tourneys is evidence of cheating now?
Wow, this on of the most idiotic statements this topic offers, seriously. I’ll give you the fact that it might look suspicious, but evidence is a whole different level.
And that’s not even factoring in that these screenshots of the top list are neither in the OP, nor even posted by Eplov, who started this topic. The actual OP is nothing more than a couple of questions (and maybe some accusations, depending on how you might want to read the post).
Your own statement of you not being one to blame without evidence is a blatant lie, because that is the very exact thing you just did.
I stand corrected, the OP did not have much hard evidence, other than the fact that the person who posted has been in well over 300 tourneys, and has helped others much the same way kkk1234kkk has. And although my post might have seemed biased, I never directly said “He’s cheating.” I implied that there wasn’t enough evidence either way, and I wasn’t sure there could be without DEV intervention.
I also agree with a previous poster than kkk1234kkk seems like a pretty good guy. But your statement that my post was *one of the most idiotic makes me wonder if you’ve read the whole topic.

So, when this bug is corrected, and he stops getting top 10% in almost every tourney he enters, he can just say, “I’m not lucky anymore,” and his faction mates will still puff out their chests and defend him? So basically it’s an argument that can’t be won, because even if the devs ban him, Methrat said he was banned when he was innocent?
What would be so incredibly awesome if a DEV came onto this topic and displayed evidence one way or another. I can’t help but think they have some kind of logging. If his card pool in each tournament is more than you’d get from four packs, or if he’s playing cards that he shouldn’t have access to, for example.

Create your own Tyrant Card Contest Discussion
Name: SAM (or SAM Array)
Card Type: Assault
Faction Type: Imperial
Cool Down: 2
Attack: 2
Health: 5
Skill 1: Anti-air 4
Skill 2: Seige all 1
Skill 3: Crush 2
Still wouldn’t do much against quickstrike. I would have given it evade, but it didn’t seem appropriate in a missile array. I made it Imperial because HunterHogan said most cards should be imperial or raider.

1mil Fame-Impossible Badge
Hmm, shouldn’t we be arguing FOR easy Kong points? I mean, 1 mil fame could be considered an “impossible” badge, because at this point a lot of the new blood gets discouraged.
Also, yeah, it doesn’t take much time when you’re already up there in fame, but getting to that 1 mil fame mark does take a decent amount of time. How many impossible badges require a minimum investment of weeks?
Most of my impossible badges took 1-4 days, tops.
I agree with the idea.

Suggestions
1 million exp ends up being a low cut-off for a game that doesn’t reset.
Could you allow another castle at 3 million exp? Maybe another at 7? There are PLENTY of spare castles around, and this would not unbalance the game too drastically.
The problem is that after 1 million fame, getting fame is actually a bad thing. It costs more AP to raid farms, but there are zero benefits, other than newbies going, “OOOO! You have so much fame, cool!!”
This would be similar to allowing more mines. And it would also allow people to have six castles, with a spare slot to partake in PvP.
Or a way to trade fame in once a day for some prize, that way fame serves some purpose rather than penalty past two million or so.
And unforging an item. The grafting is messed up without being able to unforge or it should take 1 coin all the time.

The Problem
“Back to the old way?”
What does that even mean?
And the fact that the community manager reads the posts and replies shows more than I’ve seen for other games.
There have been MANY changes, and SnailGames IS listening to the players, bit-by-bit.
C2’s used to be pathetically easy to steal, considering the investment to make them strong, then they were patched to make them ridiculously hard to take over.
Snail has since remedied the situation in a way that satisfies me, and seems fair to both attackers and defenders.
You can’t request random sweeping change, you must be specific, what did you expect SnailGames to say?
“Ok, we will revert to an older version next upkeep and remove all forged equipment and tr11 from the game.”
Wow, that would be so not awesome.
And if you think my reply is inflammatory and ridiculous, feel free to war me on Pan, you might recall that I’m that soft target, bmbm.
