Thunder is dangerous just like crashes and roars are dangerous. It implies something else, which is dangerous.

Why exactly would God even make “real” alarms?

Agreed. So you agree there’s no point in saying there’s as much evidence for the Kraken as there is for God?

It doesn’t matter: If God doesn’t exists and you are religious, you simply die thinking you will go to the afterlife. If God doesn’t exists and you are atheist, you die knowing death is death and that there is nothing after it. If God exists and you are religious, you die and get to the afterlife. If God exists and you are atheist than you die thinking there is no afterlife and never get “resurrected” since you didn’t believe in God…

Being Atheist and Science is simply a way of seeing the world. One wants to believe the world is something more than matter and energy and live in a sweet lie (which might be actually the truth but no one will ever know). The other prefers accepting harsh reality (Which can also be a lie but no one will ever know)

Science is not true, it’s a way to find truth. Religion is dogma people made up. Really, there’s no question about it.

Pascal’s Wager. Try again.

A kraken (giant squid) is plausible, as very large things can exist underwater, as it’s harder to collapse under their own weights. That hardly means we should reach the conclusion supernatural beings are plausible.

Really? You never see 1 of an object?

The concept of 0.9999 is here. To argue a similarity or difference is pointless, because whether there is or is not, you will never see 0.999, or you will call it 1.

I would call a mental deficient irrational, yes. He wouldn’t be able to participate in human society, because he is mentally deficient. Why can’t animals participate in human society?

Topic: General Gaming / Idea for Endless War 5

Gameplay differences would include:
-ridable units like horses, chariots, turrets, jeeps, etc.
-armor you find would increase your total possible armor level (so finding one might boost the blue bar below your health from 80 ax to 100 max)
-armor blocks all bullets, arrows, swords, etc until it runs out
-armor periodically is regained

This probably will never exist, but I like the idea regardless. The idea would be to have a map of the world made up of 50-odd territories, each with a name. You would pick one, and start with one guy in the Ancient Era. 4 eras here
-Ancient (weapons include spears, shields, javelins, of different types).
-Medieval (first usable turrets would include ballistae and catapults, also swords, crossbows, etc)
-Industrial (guns with 1 shot, then reload, also cannon turrets)
-Modern (modern weaponry)
-Futuristic (lasers, weapons that destroy walls, etc)

To advance an era, you would have to spend gold you got from killing enemies (more on that later). You would only be able to use industrial guns if you were at least up to the industrial age, and so on. You would also get a tax bonus from your territories. Your money could also be spent on guns, ammo, turrets, barricades, and more troops, along with more heroes that you can control, which means more attacks you can make.

You could carry 4 weapons of any kind. Types of enemies:
Civilian: No weapons, not aggressive, drops gold when dies
Rogue: Knife, drops gold, unpredictable agressiveness
Soldier: Armed with various weapons, attacks you on sight, is your enemy.
Mercenary: Found during battle, fights alongside you during the battle if you pay them
Rebel: Found during battle, fights alongside you during the battle if they are from the same general area as you
etc etc

On your turn, you could lead an attack on an enemy territory with your hero and however many troops you like. Each territory, when invaded, would look like a smaller (but still very big) version of the place you are attacking for you to walk around in. So if you attacked the territory of New England, you might need to take over of New York house by house while you’re there.

As your era advanced, more routes between territories would become available, like the Industrial Era would open up a connection between the territory of Britain and the territory of New England, and research into the Modern Era would enable crosses between faraway places like California and Australia.

Also, random stuff, like alien invasions, might happen, from which, depending on what era you are in, might end up with a “Cowboys Vs. Aliens” feel.

Topic: Serious Discussion / Donald Trump thinks it is strange Obama does not produce his birth certificate

When I was presented with McCain’s birth certificate, it said “Certificate of Birth” on top. So, as it is pretty much decided that McCain is an American citizen, we must assume that certificate of birth works too. Can I see a birth certificate that says “birth certificate”?

Poor people being supported until they get a job=/=“endless entitlement programs”. Slippery slope argument.

Haven’t I discussed this with you? Banks employ people. When banks fail, people are unemployed. Banks loan money. When banks fail, little money is loaned (as the remaining banks become cautious) and the economy is hurt, as you can’t make a big investment, like buying lots of stock, a land plot, a store, or whatever.

Can we have some evidence that Obama’s restricting domestic oil too much? Anyway, after the BP oil spill, I’m not sure what you expected him to do.

And of course, as per your beliefs, Obama is a god and Bush did it. Give me a break! Obama has done nothing but prop up wall street and banks. The rest of the country was ignored and has gone to hell in a hand basket. Guess what? Bush isn’t president right now, Obama is and he is a dud.

Obama could have applied for an exception 2 years ago, but didn’t want to be bothered by the lowly subjects of his kingdom. So, he is not only a dud, he is an arshole.

We already have health care, silly. It’s called an emergency room.

I’ve already asked you: What do you want Obama to do, or to have done instead?

Topic: Serious Discussion / Why are people still religious?

1. Everyone believes so? Evidence? I don’t unquestionably believe anything.

2. Yes, I would. If you do not disagree, and are in fact just being an idiot, that’s totally plausible. But I presume you go through this effort in an attempt to disprove me.

3. I’m not entirely sure. You may be lying or wrong, I may be wrong.

4. You called your stripper maids “hostesses”. If your guests dislike them, that defeats the whole point.

5. “You know their like better than they did… Ok… Their likes are irrelevant XD”
You claimed that I said I knew your friends. I don’t have to prove that your friends go to your house occasionally, because that’s blatantly obvious. I also just logically proved that second one a few posts ago.

6. No, I’m not. If you refuse to do something, that implies you did not try.

7. I already explained this. Y makes X because in the theory of Y, the universe expanded, and did not stop. That would logically make our universe today continue to expand.

8. Strawman. You claimed I was saying X=/=X. That was not what I said, so you can’t expect me to defend it.

9. It’s very hard to cry and type at the same time. I’m a multitasker. Really, that response was just stupid.

10. Your posts appeared to betray what you believe…. :/”
Looks like a claim.

11. Okay, now Aneslayer is refusing to explain ANYTHING.

12. So you can’t show how it’s relevant? Okay then, don’t bring it up.

13. It’s a personal attack. I don’t have to defend against it. It’s a statement about me, not about the topic.

14. You said acting like something was true took conviction. So if I act like something is true, that implies conviction. You keep talking about these omissions like they make a difference.

15. Your insults are used in lieu of arguments. They’re ruining your integrity, if at all. Not mine.

According to Janton, he is attempting satire by purposely acting like an idiot. This is very hard to distinguish from trolling.

Why would you rather be unhooked, and starve to death, than die of euthanasia, which is significantly more painless? The only reason we connect euthanasia with dogs is because Bush banned it for people.

So now it’s Obama’s fault for giving conspiracy theorists an opportunity?

Actually, yes. He could have produced the document when he was first asked to by the people he is supposed to be serving, not ruling.

He did. Wait, since when is not answering every conspiracy theory “ruling”?

What makes you think unadopted orphans do well in society?

Why should a 16-year old who can demonstrably cannot take responsibility for herself be forced to take responsibility for someone else?

If accidental pregnancies should be taken responsibility for, I presume one should be unable to put the baby up for adoption, as that would be getting rid of the baby, and thus ditching responsibility. I also assume that if the baby is a product of rape, that it is still the woman’s responsibility.
