Topic: Technical Support / Turbo Pack

This happened to me too. The people in chat say it works fine if you put it in after the tutorial, when the deck editor is available. Unfortunately, since the email didn’t say anything about this, I just put mine in and started playing, and now I have no pack.

What we are saying is that a sawblade rush is an easily beatable deck. Malort and 10 vampires would beat the OP deck most of the time, with the Apex being his only hope for a win. Throw in a Hatchet (which is one of the reward cards the OP thinks is useless) or some type of anti-air and you would beat the OP deck almost 100% of the time. And this is just one of the miriad of ways to beat that deck.

What we are saying is that the OP seriously underestimates the longer delay cards, because he hasn’t played long enough to know how to use them.

Exactly. You say he hasn’t played far enough to understand the complexity of the game. I’m saying I’m only halfway to where the OP is and I’ve already been playing for a couple weeks. If your only counter to his argument is that he hasn’t played long enough, that’s a problem.

Don’t get me wrong, I do like the game despite the flaws, I’m still playing after all. I’m just saying maybe you should look at this a little differently. If people feel strongly about the problems the OP is pointing out, they aren’t going to put in the time to see all the things that you’re talking about that make it better. Just telling people to tough it out and wait and see isn’t going to do anyone any good.

For all you people saying that there’s a lot more game to see and that he should wait and see, the problem with that is that game progression is so slow for a casual player that even getting up to 40 takes weeks.

I mean, I’m only up to mission 27, and I’m already to a point where I can’t finish an entire mission on one energy bar. I can’t just log into this game every hour and a half or so to keep going, and even if I could I won’t remember to every single time. I play once or twice a day. At the current energy rate I’ll get through two missions every three days or so, and it’ll be weeks before I see the extra content you people are saying the OP should be taking into consideration.

Why should casual gamers need to take late game into consideration? They’re not going to see it until after they’ve already decided what they think about the game. Whether the late game still has the flaws the OP mentioned or not, that’s not the point. People new to the game are going to assume it’s going to stay the same, and if the game is flawed for the first half, a lot of people won’t stick around to see the second.
