Stereotomy, that is VERY true. I feel the item maker drop exp nerf has made it somewhere between 4-10 times harder to level this profession now. I am also at the point where the only things I want to throw my resources in are ones that I would use 500 crystals on. This means drop exp/business exp are the only ways I can level it and it is now a crawl.

Nah, the odds of it changing by one is only 0.5 (0.15 + 0.35). The 0.15 for two is correct though. Wouldn’t this means it is the same amount of change with this in comparison to the additive.

Once you have entered the password to get into smiley island once, you should never have to enter the password in again. It is quite annoying that it asks you to enter it every time even after you have proven you know it.

The quality of crafted items in general need to be upped, not just the legendary quality. A little bit of luck is a good thing to have, but if you have a massive gap based on chance, it only increases aggravation.

The speed change needed to happen, as the armor speed was way too powerful. Though it did not have to happen in this form, this form works well for the most part. This solution did not change the gold trophy however. I am not saying that it should necessarily be made worse, but the increase in crafting quality would take care of this. The rank of high end crafted items should definitely be increased, as this is one of the biggest reasons that the trophy is superior.

There are three major things that make the gold trophy better than the Gl…glaive.
1. It starts at a base damage that is 95 higher than the highest possible base damage that the glaive can obtain. We all know that pure damage is the single most important stat on weapons, especially now with speed being so easily obtained.
2. It has a higher rank requirement, thus leading to higher bonuses applied to it. These bonuses are about 60% stronger than those from the glaive if I am not mistaken(% may be off, but it is significant)
3. They are obtainable very easily (though less easily now that killing the megaboss in the time limit is much harder with the shorter limit). This means that getting a +10 has MUCH less risk than for the glaive. The time limit on them is infinitely extendable with the correct enhancers. The glaive takes an average of 800,000,000 CM to create a legendary quality, and even then, the stats may not be the highest. This paired with the massive pixel cost every single time you try sets it way out of reach for any but the hackers or lucky.

The best weapon I have been able to make with 5mil CM crafts is an epic guisarme-glaive. I know the odds of this and am completely content with what I have. But looking at the stats, I am left wondering, why? Why would I want to use this over the trophy, or the grenades? The small range of the trophy is a bummer, but the enemies spawning as close as they do with melee, it doesn’t take long at all for them to reach the range.

EDIT: Also a fourth bonus to the trophy is the 35 extra defense. Though this is small, it is still a nice addition to an overpowered (in relation to obtaining difficulty) item.

Again, this point can be strongly debated, but if you keep the grenades the most powerful, even though they are harder to obtain now, you keep a broken system. In fact, the increased difficulty makes the situation even worse. This simply means that the “best” weapon in the game can no longer really be obtained, which just widens the gap between what we are currently working to get and what we have. Why would we care about creating things if we were given the best item already? The trophy is also in this boat. The stats on it deter anyone from really caring about putting time into the crafting system, which I believe was created to be used, not just shrugged off. Realistically, the chances of getting the best glaive is 0.625% (not even one). If this, being the best thing we can craft, is worse than other items that are essentially thrown out to us (even though given not as freely as before) what is the point?

I think the best solution is to change the damage level of certain items to better match a reasonable effort/reward curve. Currently, the best items in the game (gold trophy and elite grenades) are/were some of the easiest (up to debate) weapons to obtain. In the vast majority of games and mostly in real life, the more effort that you put into something, the better reward you are supposed to obtain. This means that the hardest weapons to obtain in game should be the best weapons, at least at this point with better items to be released in the future. By this logic, the GlGlGlGuGl should by and far BE the best weapon, or just rank 9 weapons in general. In summary, reduce the strength of easy to obtain items, increase the strength of crafted weapons.

I would personally vote for a % chance for some crafting materials. I know they are really meant for anti-idling, but giving a small amount from an epic skill would not break any system.

Spend them all on attack. Attack and defense both appear to not increase your damage and resistance when you buy them, but this is only because you have to leave the shop for the numbers to update. Attack is the best stat as it allows you to gain pixels faster.
