Topic: General Gaming / Best downloadable fps?

America’s Army 3 and Combat Arms are pretty good I guess. Combat Arms gave me some weird malware though I think.

Please don’t. Second chance is the worst perk ever created.

It’s better than Last Stand. You could use your grenades while downed. This could be abused to Flash or Stun yourself to prevent a kill for the enemy team. At least Second Chance was changed to that the person who dropped the Second Chance user gets the registered kill. Way better than the 20 pt. “assist” you’d get in MW2.

Also way better than Stopping Power, Danger Close, Juggernaut (but not Painkiller, deathstreaks were actually a good idea.), One Man Army, and Commando. I’m sorry, but Second Chance is just a minor nuisance compared to how abused those 6 perks were. Well, outside of Hardcore, that is.

Firstly, sorry for the late reply. And, I agree with you, all of those things you listed are very annoying and yes, maybe worse than second chance. I was over the top by saying it was the worst perk created however it is pretty darn bad. All I’m saying is new blackopers, don’t use second chance because you won’t get a lot out of it and just annoy other people. There are perks like Marathon, Ninja, Tac Mask Pro and Hacker which will benefit you much much more.

What’s wrong with learning about something that’s natural and a part of life when you’re young? No, kids aren’t learning about sex too early ;l

If you want to do the image embedding thing Eddie, you go to the link you posted, click on the image to make it bigger, right click on the image, press copy image location, post the link to Kongregate and put the exclamation marks around it and it should hopefully look like this:

129. Just checked now on a website. Now I’ll go try on a different website and see what I get. Ok, according to the website you posted Eddie, I’ve got an IQ of 140. I reckon to realistically get your IQ though, you need to get a proper test.

guitar, keyboard, carpet, shelves, cream coloured wall, picture done by me a couple of years ago in a frame, camera in tripod, fake eyeball, piggy bank, little weird contraption which you turn upside down and then all of the oily liquid goes through this maze (it’s hard to explain), bin, ten year old television, a plant, Easter card which I made in a French lesson, Tiny fish tank with little spongy fish inside which inflate when they come into contact with water, bookshelf with loads of books in it, basket, some boxes, clock, a box of tissues, a plate which I made in this art club thing, a candle stand with a candle in it and some other things which I probably haven’t come to see yet.

Topic: Kongregate / Suggestions

Firstly, McKain, that is a brilliant idea! I would love to see that happen.

Now for my actual suggestion. I know this would probably be really hard to make and incorporate into the site, but I think that this would be quite a cool little feature: I would call it maybe a forum post calculator thingy :P So as well as telling you how many posts you have, it would say which forum section you’ve posted most in (eg. SD, OT, Music, Kongregate, Art), how long your average posts is, which user you’ve quoted most, etc etc.

Yes, however I was highlighting the possibility that there would be less information being expressed while having fun rather than when you’re just sitting in a classroom listening to a teacher talking constantly. I’m not saying that everybody would take in more information when sitting in a classroom listening to a teacher however, it would be better for some people.

I hope that that made sense.

No problem.

Also, your link does have more relevance to the thread. Reading some really interesting stuff there.

It uses the concept that if you’re having fun, information goes in much more easily and stays in. Whereas if you’re bored stiff, it goes in one ear and out the other.

Depends how much information you’re taking in when you’re having fun though.

@pmr: Although making chemical reactions and doing experiments is fun, we can’t have it dominating the lessons. I mean you can learn quite a bit from doing all of these things but personally, I would probably take in the most information by reading a textbook – as boring as it may seem.

Despite having said all of this, it really depends on what kind of a learner you are. However, I agree with you to some extent; it would be useful to have more hands on/practical stuff in (science) lessons.
