Deck Changing Bug
I keep getting a bug where it tells me my deck size is invalid when I change it around, even though it’s not. If I refresh I can then make a single change before I get the invalid message again, and have to refresh again and so on.
Needless to say this makes modifying a deck extremely tedious at present.

Teia’s lightning attack sometimes doesn’t do damage (checked for spell resistance and abilities). Her special strike still works though.

Okay, maybe I’m just having a fail-day, but I can’t find a forum to sign up on, and when I asked in-game I was told the fb page, hence my above post.

Hey,
Is it possible to sign up for the free tournament without going through your facebook page?
I’d like to participate, but that’s not an option for me.
Thanks,

I can’t scroll when using Mnymon’s ability. The arrows don’t respond to clicks, and the mouse wheel just scrolls to the end or start. This means I can’t get the card I want if it’s in the middle of my deck.

Pros, Cons, & Suggestions
I agree with the feedback on taking the get an X Rare or X Ultra-rare from a booster.
People who buy the amount of packs required to get those are not likely to be bothered much by whether they complete their dailies or not.
For people who rely on dailies to help expand their collection (both free players and budget players) it’s pretty annoying as it basically means no dailies. Additionally with much of the content still in development, dailies are nice in that they are something to aim for (as there are no campaigns, free tournaments, leagues etc. atm) so keeping them achievable by the whole player-base would be nice.

Daily Reward Bug
Yeah I don’t seem to be getting the rewards either. I have 80 ounces from the Santa Claus event, but don’t have my 3+6 from the last two days of Daily login. I don’t now if I was getting the imperials before that as was new so just took it for granted that I was, rather than checking the numbers.

Bug reports
Not exactly a bug but with Internet Explorer at least when I go to the single card shop and look at the cards (right click to see abilities) the chat box is overlaid on the text obscuring it. Since it would be quite nice to know what the cards do before we buy them is there way to minimise the chat box or position the expanded card higher up so they don’t conflict?
Cheers

Introduction to Space Raids
So when a weaker player on a budget finally manages to find a way into those constellations, they were be rewarded for their patience skill and ingenuity with an item that will almost certainly be stolen from them.
I maintain that it’s a nice concept from IGG but that part needs sorting out. Also still seems easy to use alts and corps-mates to interfere with the intercepting.
Unless – and a couple of things still unclear here – do you choose the raid you’re intercepting or is it random? Also what happens if the raid “window” closes during a battle? If the battle finishes and then the timer goes to zero it’s still easy to send a friendly tank fleet to stall. Finally will raid interception be connected to location at all?

Space Raids FAQ
p.s. In the other post someone suggested ranking ruins players so the more ruins you get the higher up the “ruins ranking” you go and players at the same rank get priority for intercepts. Means alts get stuck at Lvl 1, whilst high budget high-tech players end up too high a rank to intercept players getting their first ruins. Tweaked a bit, something like this could work, although I’m not entirely sure the server population is high enough.

Space Raids FAQ
I like that you’re trying and appreciate there being 3 time slots to cater for different time zones. However I still have two concerns.
1)Strong players will steal from the weak. Perhaps on facebook everyone has end-game ships and tech and high level commanders, and the playing field is sort of level, I don’t know. But the Kong server is in its infancy so this is a very real problem.
2)There are still plenty of ways “friends” and “alts” (something you guys keep ignoring here) can stall for that hour.
Large tanky fleets. Even just a long genuine battle, after all if you’re friends you can transfer the reward after or maybe don’t mind who gets it.
Sending multiple friends/alts etc.
Again I appreciate the attempt to deal with and it will lessen it (though also make it much harder for weaker players to keep the ruins), but I think you underestimate the persistence of some players here to bend the spirit and rules of the game for their own reward, especially when it goes unmonitored and isn’t incredibly hard to do.

Prepare to Team Up as Space Raiders!
Oh in addition to finding a solution for the Alt Intercepts and the Top Player > Little Guy Intercepts, could you also please remember many of your players are in Europe and work/study 9-5, so if you make 2 time slots a day do not make it so they are only doable by Americans.

Shielding tactics.
Try to get EOS as soon as possible. It makes a huge amount of difference.
In the meantime I’d suggest using the type of damage negator that compensates for the weakness of your hull e.g. if using Bolencias with Regen armour use copious amounts of Heat Shields since it takes 150% damage from heat.
Also after you’ve reached the penultimate tech on your primary weapon tree it’s worth getting the shield tech up (as in the top half of the ship defence tree), especially the ones which between them add +8 to damage negation shields.
In general Instances use lots of small fleets rather than a few big ones, so negation is golden. If you can absorb all the damage from each stack you’ll never take any damage, simple (except when you shoot at ships with reflect). If you can absorb most of the damage but not all, then a decent amount of shielding can be stretched out a long way. Take a look at the Instance Viewer on the Wiki to see the damage outputs of various enemy fleets. After Instances things will get more complicated, but no need to worry about that yet.
Beyond that it’s quite dependent on your ships and strategy as to the exact ratios.

Prepare to Team Up as Space Raiders!
Conceptually this is nice, and since I’m in a decent corps we’ll probably benefit from it.
But slightly concerned, that this is another feature that just makes strong players stronger. What’s to stop top players from simply stealing everyone else’s rewards by intercepting their ruin runs?
I suppose players could engineer it so an ally (or for many players one of their countless alts) intercepts you instead with an intentional fail-fleet, but this probably wasn’t your design intent and would rather take the fun out of the whole thing?

FIX LEAGUE
I usually hate pulling up an old thread back onto the front page, but IGG do you have any update on this?
There’s a fairly sizeable portion of your player-base that is UK or Europe based. Anyone working or studying 9-5 can’t do league, which is a fairly significant disadvantage, since honour is pretty important (plus there’s no reason they should be disqualified from a fun part of the game based on geography).
The obvious solution is to create an additional Euro-friendly league time slot. The other option is to allow a player to set up a league fleet that will automatically search for 3 battles when he/she is offline.

Dont draw Coms during Gumball event(rigged)
@gatherer – I never said it wasn’t real, but being aware of it can mitigate (not eliminate) it depending on what type of person you are, and depending on how good your memory is (assuming you’re only counting things from the point you start paying attention – of course retroactively it’s a mess as everything’s selective). And nobody anywhere has claimed that anything beats a recorded and large sample set. Anyway I was also pretty clear that it might still be a factor, not to mention I said my bias was in the opposite direction. So my confirmation bias would be opposite to the conclusion I eventually reached…

Depends who you are skurboll. It’s only worthless if you’re not aware of these factors and don’t know how to observe properly. You’re also assuming I “had the idea X gives Y”. In reality I started off believing that all the hearsay was a result of confirmation bias coupled with skepticism towards IGG, and not in fact true. Thus I was actually more inclined to believe that the draws were no different, and if anything that’s what I was looking for. Therefore I was more likely to be biased in the opposite direction.
In any case I said I’m suspicious but totally open to the idea it’s just anomalous based on still too small a sample (and yes despite my opening paragraph I know it’s also possible I’m mistaken which is why I mentioned it was observation not data in the first place). Hence I’d like a confirmation from IGG (which would be to their advantage anyway). The one thing IGG is good at is things that get them more money. So when they don’t make a simple statement that would encourage MP spenders you somewhat worry that maybe it’s because they can’t…

Whilst what skurboll says is true (basically the above sample sizes are all too small to prove anything) there does (admittedly only from extensive observation, not recorded data sets) seem to be a drop in leg/div probabilities every time a “draw” related event is on.
I’d love an official IGG answer on this – after all if the percentages really are the same it’s to their advantage to tell us, as it increases consumer confidence and the likelihood we’ll spend stupid amounts of MP during said events.

IGG-Are multiple-accounts allowed?
@ River – I agree IGG won’t do anything about it because they get money out of it.
What I’m disagreeing with is that it’s a means for F2P players to catch up with WW. People willing to invest large amounts of dollars are by and large also willing to invest large amounts of time. Your average genuinely F2P player is less likely to invest the kind of time required to genuinely benefit from an alt than someone who is already investing lots of time and money anyway.
Additionally I think we’re getting caught up in the “free” thing. Paying players gain access to multiple offers (which are obviously not free) but I don’t think anyone is taking huge issue with that since it still comes down to putting loads of $ in the game, albeit in a slightly more efficient way (and I do think it’s done more than you realise, but really not the point). I think it’s more the income stream of gold and resources, which can double (or more with more alts) your buying power for ships, research, buildings, corps donations, and also in the auction house.
The hand of WW doesn’t get forced to spend more, the hand of everyone gets forced to make alts to keep up, which many can’t do because of the time commitment.
Finally, even if what you say were true it would still further detract from skillful play. How is rewarding someone for bending rules and spending all day online preferable to rewarding someone for paying more $?
But as I stated up the page it is the way this game runs (because as we both note IGG benefits from it at this time) so there’s not much point taking issue with individuals who are just doing what everyone else does, unless IGG change their unofficial stance to fit with their official one.
