That’s not true at all. He plays an almost identical game, it would be pointless to play two basically identical games at the same time. So he chose to continue playing DotD since he’s more progressed in that, and plays this one only for the badges.

As for the subject at hand, I guess you’d have to be from America to get the reference.

The feed focuses on things like earning badges, and which games you favorite/play, so that you can comment and compete with your friends. It can be pretty fun to see what new games your friends are playing, and congratulate them when they earn that impossible badge.

For that to work we need the ability to filter what shows in our feed (not just what we show others, but what we get to see as well). Otherwise we end up with feeds like this, which is absolutely useless:

what was wrong with it on the main page? You still have plenty of blank space.

They get more ad revenue if we have to click through multiple pages to use the features we want. That’s the only reason.

That would have been a decent idea if 99% of all messages didn’t turn out to be someone who got a new badge. That’s absolutely useless information and makes the feed unusable. Sure, it’s nice you gave us the option to choose what we want to share. But that’s just not good enough. We need to option to choose what we want to see, only then will it be even remotely useful (and even then I still hate the fact that you moved the recently played games list because of it. Now I can’t access everything I want from the front page any more). But in the current state it’s 100% useless because it will be spammed with “player earned a badge” messages.

I have no interest in a feed full of “a person you followed to get an advantage in an online game just got a badge” messages. Any way to remove it? I liked the recently played games list (yes, I know that list is still there hidden in some submenu, but it’s easier to find on the front page).

Edit: Nevermind, I do. But it’s at a very unintuitive place. Instead of going to account options I have to go view my profile instead. It should be under account options I think.
