Yep, I always do it in a certain order: ill in order, as they come under my mouse and
CLICKITYCLICKITYCLICKITYCLICKITYCLICKITYCLICKITYCLICKITYCLICKITYCLICKITYCLICKITYCLICKITYCLICKITYCLICKITYCLICKITYCLICKITY
No, seriously, there’s no order.

Topic: AdVenture Capitalist / Oil Company eventually becomes cheaper than Banks?

Yes, this is normal, growth of price for oil is x1,07, like lemo, and the coeff grows up to x1,15 for news.
Therefore, in late game, the hearth of the problem is to get more newspapers.

Topic: AdVenture Capitalist / Angel sacrifice upgrades

I would say that it is worth it when you have more than 80% of the bonus remaining for a *3.
Why?
Because, as I said earlier, if you have 20K angels, the bonus will be only 1,5%, but also, you will need to get 10K new AIs, which are also about 1,5x harder to get (actually, √2, which is 1,41). Therefore, if I’m correct, the bonus in term of progress is very low: only 7%…

Both the boost penalty and the progress penalty become a lot less noticeable as you start to get a lot of AIs.
Therefore, I think that waiting until you have 5 times the bonus is a good way to do it.

Topic: AdVenture Capitalist / Angel sacrifice upgrades

If you have only 15K angels, don’t buy the x3.
Why? Because, not only your benefits won’t change, but you will now have to get again your 10K angels, which will be harder than the first time. So, 25K is a minimum.

Still nowhere close to infinity.

Yet, this number is so ridiculously ridiculous (it is probably WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY bigger than Graham’s number) we can’t imagine in any other way than “Something infinite”

Topic: AdVenture Capitalist / What if this happens in real life?

First of all, thank sayen.

Second, in a desperate attempt to find numbers big enough, I stumbled on this:

What will happen in a ridiculously large amount of time?

In a time between 10^36 and 10^43 years, all protons may be gone. And that’s not even a googol year

In 10^107 years, the largest black holes will vanish; the era of darkness will start.

(Now, we must suppose this damn proton is completely stable)

In 10^1500 years, there will be nothing in the universe but iron.

In 10^10^26 years, all remaining iron will have turned into black holes, and will have vanished; there won’t be anything in the universe but light.

Finally,in 10^10^120 (way over a GP!) the universe will have reached it’s final energy state. Nothing will ever happen after this.

Phew.

Oh, and NO, the googolplex isn’t the biggest;

The googolduplex is 10^googolplex
The googoltriplex is 10^googoldupex
And so on.

To what end? The googolyottaplex is 10^10^10^10^10^10…(there’s a SEPTILLON of those…) …10^100. Eww.
It makes quite a good definition of “infinite”.

cant tell if troll or not.

May not be a troll. Since playing this game, I’ve learned some people truly do not know what a googol is. Much less a googolplex.

I am not a troll. I was simply saying:
If everyone is incredibly rich, then BG is incredibly rich for them!
Therefore, I said he had a ridiculous fortune a googoplex

For your culture:

a googol is 10^100
A googolplex is 10^10^100 (or 10^googol)

This number is so ridiculously large, it has more zeroes than there are atoms in the Universe.

And what about a futher level of resetting?
Level 1 is the usual soft reset
Level 2 is a “hard” reset which also resets angels (yet doesn’t totally wipes save, see below)
Level 3 really wipes out the save
When you hard reset with over, let’s say, a Gogol dollar, you get an archangel/demon (choose) investor. You get 1 more per power of 10 over Googol: you need to reach 10^109 to get 10

Those “super AIs” could go on powerful perks such as:
-Waiting time reduced by 10%
-Overall profit increased by 10%
-You can start directly with managers (first you must purchase Cabe Johnson, then the newspaper guy, and so on)
-You can start with an upgrade (Ditto)
-Unlocks a super-powerful and super-expensive upgrade

So, what do you think?

EDIT: actually, I wasn’t first with the idea, but I made something concrete.

I could imagine this toggle:

1) Short scale
2) Long scale
3) Scientific notation
4) Short with scientific notation helping
(I’m saying, something like: “1 decillon(1e33)”
5) Long with helping
6) Gogol mode (possibly another switch)
After it is reached, the Gogol becomes the new unit ( 10^106 would be called “1 million Gogol $”, and so on)

What are you guys thinking?

What does makes AdC so addictive for me?
Absurdly high numbers.

To “win”(2000 of everything) the game, you need 1,7*10^102 $

Earth’s GDP?
Done!
It’s 7,17×10^13 $!

Avogadro’s nuber?
Done!
It’s 6.0221413^23!

The diameter of the observable Universe, in meters?
Done!
It’s 2,61×10^26!

the diameter of the Universe, in planck lengths?
Done!
It’s 4,22×10^61!

The number of atoms in the observable Universe?
Done!
It’s 3×10^79!

The infamous “Gogol”?
Done!
It’s 10^100!

To give you the idea, you need as much dollars as there are planck spaces in a cube being 0,65 m high.

Edit: some of my numbers were false.

Yeah, AdC is one oh the VERY RARE “true” incremental idle games.

What is the gameplay of such a game?

Simple:

Plays for 10 mn
Close the PC

1 day later…
Plays for 10 mn
Close the PC

1 day later…
Plays for 10 mn
Close the PC

1 day later…
Plays for 10 mn
Feels great to earn bajillions of dollars

And what about something like:
152,981 zillons (1.52981×10^68)?
Warning: zillons may not exist.

Besides, I would really like to see one number not being a " xxxillon":
10 duotringillons/10 sexdecillard (yeah, I am French and I would like to see the “european” system too)
A.K.A googol.
I mean seriously, this number is so big:
1. It is ugly using standard denomination
2. When you see that you reached 1 googol, you’re like: OH SH*T! I reached 10^100! NOW we’re talking about capitalism!
3. And yet, while being dreadfully big, it is reachable! (hear that googolplex?)

Profits *1000. Boom.

More seriously, if they were to put a gap being like, 12 decimals wide, and that could only be passed with an ultra-powerful upgrade/achievement unlocked for doing a special feat, it could work.

Topic: AdVenture Capitalist / 1.4.5 Preview

According to my calculations, the 1634th or so newspaper costs over a googol. I know, capitalism is awesome, but who would buy a newspaper delivery company for more cash than there are elementary particles in the universe?

Answer: REAL capitalists of course!

However, the googolplex won’t be reached in the billion year… until the 2.0.0 allows us to juggle with bagigaquadrizylliatringillions. Or something like that.

However, if the cap is raised to 3500 (allowing to go to up to googol²…) , I’d say
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

Actually diamond is different to other gems.
Gems like emerald, ruby and sapphires are ionic cristals, where particles are bount by ionic liks.
On the other hand, diamond is a very rare allotrope of carbon. It is only made with ONE element, while saphire(as an example) is aluminium dioxyde. Carbon atoms are bount by covalent liks.
It makes diamond much more resilient than gems: a diamond can cut ruby or emerald.
Finally, diamond is really rarer than other gems.

town suggestions
1. Meh, a town isn’t only services and factories! Where do the 200K people or so of a big city live?
2. Maybe make buildings look nicer and/or bigger as they are upgraded…
3. More buildings having some other uses:
-A foundry/grove/wood factory/… that makes smithes/druids/carpenters/… sightly better
-Houses, when upgraded they would make customers up to 10% more likely to accept your suggestions
-Bank: increase every single gains by up to 5%
4. A 5th tier of ressources? It would be used for lv 15+ items, with a max rate of 1/hour. I could imagine Adamantite(smith and such), energy orbs(for magic stuff) and diamonds(the rest)
Shop suggestions
1. A stourage room you buy for 100K or so would be neat
2. Again, and even if would be maybe opped, a crafting mastery thant makes you craft even 5% faster would be awesome.
3. Types of order:
-“I’m hesitating…” 2 choices
-“I was just looking around” any choice, increased successful suggestion chance, but not totally sure.
-“I REALLY need this” Increased sell price, but reduced suggestion chances

What are you thinking about this?
