Card skills ideas
So I’ve been thinking that we can get together and brainstorm ideas for new skills on future sets, you know, to make the devs job a little easier.
Here’s what I’ve come up with after an hour-ish:
Duality: the unit can belong to more than one faction.
ex. “Duality Xeno” on a Raider means that the card can be affected by cards that affect raiders and xeno.
Spy: look at your opponent’s current hand and/or next card.
ex. “Spy on play”. This can help people decide what to play next more effectively.
Laze: unit attacks once every X turns, where X>1
ex. “Laze 3” means the card only attacks once every 3 turns.
Doom: affected assault card dies in __ turns. Damage dependent.
ex. “Doom 8” would mean that the card that takes damage will die after 8 turns.
Cripple: cut an assault card’s attack in half (round down) and it cannot be rallied for one turn.
I’m not sure if this should be made 50% chance or 100% chance.
Distribute: when the card takes damage, distribute the damage evenly throughout every assault card (round up(?))
This would help users of summon and units that have refresh, and higher health units would finally be used more.
Growth: add max attack and/or max hp per turn while active.
ex. “Growth 1” would increase the card’s attack/health cap by 1 every turn
Overpower: when unit attacks with more attack than opposing unit’s health, inflict overkill damage to the commander.
