By the way every single time I play it’s annoying as feck that people such as ElMaloChico join a room someone has made called “NO GAMMA” and just spams everyone with the very thing that is forbidden. This whole weapon balance issue has been so frustrating I’m not sure why I even play.

It hasn’t escaped my attention that player numbers have been quite high while the weapons have been severely imbalanced, but once again the quality of players has been frankly dismal.

I’m out also and for the same reasons. Again I will come back in the future to check out the game but dang…. the latest update is one of the worst I’ve seen anywhere. Hard to see coming if you’ve a developer working on the game I guess but with the gamma and other OP weaps including single barrel for newbs this is just terrible – no skill but all kill. Pointless.

Yeah the OP weaps are all a big problem like Lili mentioned. I’d like to invite the devs into some matches and see how they get on with the new balance, to see how fun they find it. I just played a match with a player called ZeHc who is a terrible abuser of the gamma. You ask people not to use it and they say “but it’s good, very powerful!” Well that’s great, but it’s also spammable as hell and you can just walk around firing like a loon and win basically every time. It’s no wonder people are going up levels incredibly quickly at the moment.

If me and Lilium are finding it hard to compete with newbies with gamma, you know the balance isn’t right.

I’ve had a look at the updates and they’re pretty good. Had no white team, there’s some nice new weaps (love one of the pistols), and that sewer level is pretty fun as well. Good work, guys!

Yr old friend jimmahgee has decided to hang up his mouse and WASD keys.

Recently I’m finding myself bored and annoyed when playing – the same old glitches and bugs are still there such as white team, severely imbalanced teams, whole servers not working, and so on. The old players I used to like to hang out with are also around less frequently so most of the time I’m just doing the grind of collecting daily rewards… which is quite addictive, but holds no satisfaction for me.

However! I will drop by sometime in the Summer to see what’s going on. The game is pretty good when it’s fast paced and can be quite thrilling when you have a chatty and competitive group around.

Thanks to the dev team for making and maintaining the game to the best of their ability, and to the other players I’ve conversed with since the game opened who made it a pleasure to play.

Player Barbosa is staying in matches despite being unkillable. They have no body, only feet and arms. They can kill us but we can’t kill them. Despite asking them to leave over and over they will not.

Some people are capable of moving extremely fast because they have figured out how to jump and roll simultaneously, not just off platforms but on any ground. I’m not crying because they beat me – because they never do – but because this is not something we can all do. Is this already being looked in to?

Here’s an idea. Do not let people with a ping of 200+ join europe server. They are crippling matches. I just got rinsed by 6 people all with ping of 200+ against a team of 5 with green pings (one person on my team actually had 200+ as well). We can’t hit these laggers, it sucks.

Did you guys get supremely high and then come up with the idea for slowing the running speed? It’s terrible. I mean seriously bad with no redeeming qualities at all.

A massive part of the appeal of this game is the rapid nature of it. That no longer exists.

So I’ve been playing a bit over the past couple of weeks and feel like the new aim system turned out alright. There’s a lot more people playing now than there used to be and I think part of that is it’s a little bit harder to absolutely rinse the opposition. However, a lot of us are upset at the new level starting system. There is a unanimous hatred of all players needing to be Ready before a game cane start. We had 10 players in a room and osman1234 wouldn’t press ready because she wanted two more people to join. For 2 minutes we had to wait for her. That’s not fun, in fact it’s the opposite of fun. I don’t want to sit in a room lobby, I want to play.

Seems like some of us also don’t like the nature of choosing teams in the lobby as well. It’s silly, people are switching teams like mad and half the time you end up with 2 vs 6 or similar.

I would suggest reverting to randomised teams and not needing all players to be “ready” before letting play commence.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [BigHeadBash] Newest update (accuracy) is a problem

Just logged on after a few weeks off, and the game has changed drastically. Have to press space to jump, there’s some kind of ammo stuff going on, I can’t hit anyone with my weapons, the maps look cluttered. I really enjoyed playing the game to have some simple fun, which seemed to be what the whole point of the thing was from day one: a side-on, slick, retro-feeling, fun and easy shooter.

I waited months for the player numbers to pick up and highlighted my concern with that, and was told that it was being worked on. The problem is it hasn’t picked up in a significant way, you can no longer log on and have a simple, fun match, and there are constant updates that drastically change the state of play. I appreciate that the game is free and the developers have worked extremely hard on it. I would maintain that in terms of quality for a free game it is one of the best out there. However the fundamental problems of glitches, as noted by bloodstar, have not been addressed, and focus seems to be funnelled in the wrong direction (NEW update! NEW weapons! NEW features! NEW UI!!!!!).

So with many thanks to the devs and other players I know who have spoken in this thread, thanks for some good times but I am going to take a lengthy hiatus until there is a more stable build and I can come back feeling confident of relearning the game and not being incapacitated after 3 weeks because of an update.
