Or… Alexander Roivas from Eternal Darkness. You know, for someone thrown into a war against a powerful and evil set of creatures bent on destroying humankind, she seems to have no trouble believing anything that happens (though that might just be a side effect of the memories she experiences…), and actually looks really good while defending herself.

Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2 (scared me so badly when I first played through the game), or anything from Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requim. Especially the bonethieves or the Black Guardian.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requim.
The enemies you face depending on your choices, ability to vary your magick’s alignment to affect the environment in different ways, the ability to replay the storyline up to two times after completing it to get the true ending. Fantastic storyline, atmospheric environments, characters which are at least somewhat compelling… Yeah, one of my favourite games.

Runescape is definitely a close second though.

A reason to quest other than rebellion against tyranny or an invading force. Though rebellion was pretty good too.

Maybe an option to save manually instead of having to talk to innkeepers to save.
Or: Make the dialogue box open as soon as you step into range of the shopkeepers/innkeepers. It is so frustrating moving your mouse to click something (especially when saving) and the entire dialogue box closes (except of course if you position yourself in the absolute correct spot beforehand).

That’s what I’d like.
