I don’t think that you played top PvP players much really lol, priest are weak against rush due to lack to nukes, there are lots of Tariels out that can fly (and you can use sanc and soul to lock both lanes down so that you don’t get mif / maia’d rather than just one lane), top rangers don’t use sunder armor… either that or you are playing on a newer server with weaker players.

But anyways, I believe Sanc is a strong card for Priests, but it is required to make Priest to be able to compete with the other classes. Without it, priest is at a huge disadvantage to other classes.

These are what I know of, most information should be accurate.

Actually, at rep level 45, you don’t even gain reputation from Godlikes, and have to use Reputation Crests (bought from tower)

From Lvl 45 – 50: Only reputation crests from tower count for reputation

Lionroar’s ability in Chinese and Libra’s ability in Chinese is different in that Libra is missing the Chinese word “friendly”, so I believe it is intended to increase all units’s attack instead of just friendly.

Maybe you should read the rules of the equaliser first. Youve probably never seen a crit or block there in any of the games you played. Thats because for these tournament type, there is no valor, expertise, or fortitude. And your live is 50. Its truly equal;)

I think you have misunderstood the word “equalizer” in his post. He is not referring to the tournaments, he is saying that his friend said(roughly) that crits/blocks give free/lower-rated players a better chance of beating paying/higher-rated players. Which is blatantly untrue, because of equipment.

I don’t really understand the reasoning behind that people spending more time playing something should get a further advantage over people spending less time at playing it. The extra time spent playing should be enough advantage on its own, besides the extra cards they have. I have played chess for quite a few years, for example, and I will generally beat people who haven’t played as long, but sometimes they will beat me. That is because they outplayed me(or I blundered/made mistakes). Should I have a further advantage other than experience? And experience does help in Kings and Legends, because there is skill involved.

DigitalityKnight explained it well on the previous page, and even better later again. Sure, you know that crit/block might happen. But you have no idea where/when. Whereas you have at most 30 cards in your deck, you have 1/30th chance of drawing any given card for each one. Certainly, some orders are better than others, and some(depending on your deck) might be awful. But that is part of the deck-building, you have to ask “Will this give a reasonable start no matter what I draw(unlikely, but some decks will be better in this regard, though might come out worse against other decks if they have a good draw)?” Sure, your opponents could have good draws, or bad draws, as well as you, but good deck-building can negate quite a bit of that damage.

You could technically account for crits and blocks. For example, my partner once had both a blue Slash (8 damage) and purple Slash (10 damage) in his hand. The enemy had an super-encouraged 5 hp Mifz on the field, and a 8 hp Peg Legionnaire. The controller of the Mifz had very high Fortitude. Instead of using the purple Slash on Mifz, he used it on the Legionnaire, killing it, and then proceeded to use the blue Slash on the Mifz. It blocked and survived, costing us the battle. However, if the purple Slash were to be used on the Mifz instead, it would’ve died no matter what, rather than using it on the non-threatening Peg Legionnaire. If he had taken into account that the Mifz could’ve likely blocked, and that half of 10 damage will still finish off the Mifz, we would’ve won.

Topic: Rise of Mythos / better than tyrant?

It is an excellent game. Much more strategy and much more of a “game” than Tyrant in my opinion.

It offers:
- Excellent PvP and Tourney system
- All cards have some value (you can extract or combine them)
- Balanced powercreep (there is some powercreep, yes, but it doesn’t completely break the game)
- Real Collaboration with other players in PvE and PvP (Requires synergy and lots of communication)
- You have to plan and actually play the game, and have fun doing it and achieving goals (Instead of simply autoing everything and using the simulator)

These are some main points that I particularly enjoyed, but I believe there are much more.

That (Mif / Maia / Swift Raid) actually is about 99% of the top 2v2 games (By top I’m considering the top 20 in 2v2). They often add Sorann too though.

However, it’s different for 1v1 – there aren’t many top rushers in 1v1 there.

Holy is actually magic, but damage dealt cannot be reduced, like Sunder Armor.

Against Soul, Soul reduces magic damage to 0, and the “damage cannot be reduced” effect breaks this effect.

Against Velyn, have you really played Alice against Velyn? It doesn’t work.

It is really annoying having to stay up for an extra 8 / 24 / 48 hours just to get a card…

Also, I believe the devs lose money this way, since look at the bid prices now – no one wants to wait 8 / 24 / 48 hours for a card or to have a bidding war continuously. Thus, no one pays good prices for AH cards anymore, everything is for cheap. Thus, less gold needed to buy a good set of cards from AH.
