Now, the obvious problem this brings up is the fact that buying a pack with 30 cards first, and then another buying the same pack with 60 cards will skew the results you get and give you more of the first set of cards. One option we’re considering is a “Trade-in” feature that will let you hand in (for example) 15 Terminus Commons, 5 Terminus Uncommons and two Terminus Rares to get another free Terminus pack. This would apply to other sets as well, so if we do create this feature, it would essentially let you recycle unwanted cards into another chance at a particular card within a set.

The discussion of ‘Awakening vs. Terminus vs. new shards" is also one we’re considering. We may consider a “universal shard” for this set. However, this is a separate discussion, so let’s please keep that conversation on our other Currency Changes threads that we’ve been working on.

I’m sure we’re going to get a ton of feedback as there’s a lot to be discussed here. As always, let us know your thoughts and we’ll try to determine the best system. Cheers!

People (rightly) bashed the idea as being way too expensive…

Any less would be one rare for a new pack… Infinite free packs?

Edit: Never mind, the number of commons does seem a little strange considering you’d always have enough rares and not enough commons

There is a letter from Yurrich that reads, ‘This is a Long shot.’”
  4. Missions no longer give gold (except for the gold grinding mission). They drop components that you must assemble into different machines: mining equipment, ore smelter, and gold press to make gold bars.
  5. Quests also drop Workshop Keys. If you defeat all 18 quests each day (did I mention that there will be more quests?), then you have a 1.9% chance of earning a workshop key. If you collect 10 keys, then you can unlock a crafting room. Each crafting room gives you access to craft the one item that is in it. So, to craft all of the things above (Quest energy refill, gold press, etc.), you must first unlock the crafting room for that item. Daily crate will also drop crafting keys. Also, if 1) you are in the faction ranked number 3 in faction points or 2) ranked number 8 in tiles or 3) if no one in your faction has the letter “Z” in their screen name AND no one has used any 1337 in their screen name AND if you add together all of the vowels of all of the players in your faction (Y only counts if it is lower-case and is between two constants) and the resulting number is a prime number, then everyone in your faction gets 100 workshop keys.
  6. Conquest wars will be completely revamped. We will compare the IP address of everyone who logs in from your faction. All non-unique IP address will be summed. For example, if six different accounts log in from the same IP address, then that is worth six, but if only one person logs in from a particular IP address, then that is only worth one. Then we will add together all of the numbers greater than one. So, if you have 50 members with 50 different IP addresses, your score is zero. But if you have 50 members and 49 IP addresses, your score is 2. Last example: 50 members with the same IP address, your score is 50. The scores are calculated for each 24 hour period (starting at 07:56 PST). At the end of the period, each player in the faction that logged in and spent at least 1 War Bond will get Conquest Tokens equal to the IP address score. So, if your faction has an IP address score of 50, and you spent 1 War Bond, you would get 50 tokens that day.
  7. Faction wars will now have limited AI on defense. If the attacking player plays a structure, then if the defending player has Siege anywhere in the deck, the computer will play the Siege card. Play protect and the defender plays Pierce or Enfeeble. Blitz cards will only be played against active units, unless the defender only has Blitz cards left. Rapier and Iron Maiden will never be played if their On Play abilities will be wasted, unless the defender doesn’t have any other cards left. Etc. Finally, all defense decks have an 11th and final card: Jokulhaups. It destroys everthing in play, and no card can regenerate from the destruction.

I have noticed some kind of strange pattern similar to this one in quests, missions, faction wars and conquest. A specific order of the first 3-5 cards seems to repeat itself multiple times in a row.

Yeah this could definitely happen. I think the members should be automatically added to the inactive roster so we don’t have to worry about not noticing people who have been inactive.
