Topic: ShellShock Live 2 / Just Chattin' (Shellshock Live 2)

Here’s one I came up with just a couple of days ago, but it’s a bit hard to describe in words:

Pendulum

Launches a flare (doesn’t matter what the flare looks like) which, once it lands, causes a medium-sized ball attached to a string to swing from the top of the screen. Unless the ball smashes into a wall/the ground/a tank on the way down, the string will snap at the lowest point of the swing, allowing the ball to follow a normal trajectory. Damage could be calculated depending on the speed of impact.

Also, the direction of the swing depends on what half of the battlefield the flare lands in. So if the flare lands on the right-hand side, the pendulum will fall from left to right, and if the flare lands on the left-hand side, the pendulum will fall from right to left. Hopefully this doesn’t sound too confusing.

Bounstream
Stream/one-bounce (or 3-bounce) hybrid. Fires a continuous stream of 20 one- or 3-bounces that bounce off surfaces once or three times before exploding. Level 1 weapon does 4 damage per bullet (80 max in total), and level 5 does 8 damage per bullet (160 max in total).

Topic: Crazy Fairies / Suggestion Thread

Can something be done about the infinite number of cards the AI seem to have? If players are only allowed up to 5 cards per game I think it’s only fair that NPCs do as well. Obviously I don’t want this suggestion to make the game too easy, but I have lost so many times on levels such as Jack and the Beanstalk because Chuck and Cluck use either a Double Shot or Cross Shot almost every round.

Topic: Crazy Fairies / Bug Reports

I saw a problem I am also having mentioned on the first page of this thread – sometimes the enemy becomes invisible, rendering it hopeless for me to aim properly. I have to guesstimate where it is and I often have no idea whether I hit it or not. The problem is only made worse by the fact that enemies can teleport, and if an enemy becomes invisible on my screen and it teleports I have absolutely no idea where it is, which is a serious problem and handicap. If the enemy was near an ally before teleporting while being invisible, and I aim for the place where I last saw it, I could potentially hit my own team-mate and let the whole team down. This urgently needs to be fixed. Evidently I’m not the only one having this problem.

Topic: Realm of the Mad God / Is anyone else suffering from major lag?

Yes, 95% sure it’s not on my end. It was fine before the latest update, and I since seen an increase in the number of other players reporting the same problem through the in-game chat. The lagging seems to have improved somewhat since I started the thread, but when it does happen it is VERY bad; enemies and players start darting around all over the screen, some enemies remain stationary and invincible, and the map expands very slowly so that I sometimes catch up with the black boundary.

Topic: Realm of the Mad God / Your "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" Moments

I’m sure many have gone through much worse, but for me, I was in Sprite World today all by myself with my 9 hp potions. I was level 20 and could take down all the enemies without too much difficulty. However, one of the strong sprites kept bombarding me with bullets and I was low on health, so instead of using my health potions I stupidly pressed the nexus hotkey…

I could have easily defeated Limon on my own and got a dex potion or better, but instead I pressed the wrong stupid button :(

Topic: Realm of the Mad God / Is anyone else suffering from major lag?

I’m from the UK, so I normally go on the EU North server, but after experiencing major lag problems, I decided to try the EU West server instead. Same problem started happening.

Prior to the latest update, the game had been running perfectly for me. The laptop I’m playing it on isn’t too old, and I have seen a significant number of other players reporting the same lag problem via the in-game chat.

For these aforementioned reasons, I’m convinced the problem isn’t on my end, but does anyone know how to reduce (or even eliminate) the lag that many people seem to be having at this time? It’s making the game virtually unplayable for me!

Topic: Realm of the Mad God / Error 2048

I’ve just started getting an error number like that as well. Does it say it’s a security error? I don’t know what the cause of the problem is or how to fix it, but, as we both seem to be getting the problem today, perhaps there are many others with the same problem and it could just be temporary? Does anyone else know how to fix this?

In the quest ‘Sugar Cane Removal’ you are asked by Iris to destroy 10 plants, yet you only get to destroy 2. I wouldn’t say this is a major bug but it’s probably worth mentioning.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [8BitMMO (Construction Sandbox)] Cannot play

I’ve also been having exactly the same problem using Internet Explorer 9. Whenever I click play on the trailer screen, it refreshes the page and a message saying something like “A problem has caused Internet Explorer to reopen the tab” will pop up.

Not sure if this has already been said (sorry if it has) but sometimes when I want to move to another area by following a path off the screen, I have to run around for a bit before it loads. Not a major problem but thought it would be worth mentioning.
