So I have a this little little block of text thing (don’t know correct syntax name for it, sorry) and i need a padding above the top paragraph and padding bellow the bottom paragraph. but it’s not working. but i’ve gone over my code a lot of times and it’s not… Can anyone help me out?

I’m fairly new to the whole HTML/CSS scene so this is my first real website (after many play around and see what happens attempts).

I guess right now my question is can you not put a border around the body? What I have right now for the body:

font: 1em arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
padding: 0 10em 0 10em;

I want to change the padding to border so that I can change the color of it (border-color: ) but it doesn’t work… What am I doing wrong?

How is Sylencia #9 and hasn’t pulsed since 2008! Why won’t this person just click pulse again… And there are 3 people in our top 10 that haven’t pulsed since 2009… Weird…

I have a 40gigabyte hard drive on my computer and I have hooked up a 700gigabyte hard drive and a 1.5terabyte hard drive so i speak from experience.

I’m not sure what you mean by removable, so i’m just going to tell you what I know. The easiest thing that you can do is get an external hard drive. This will be hooked up via USB port (and usually also come with their own power supply). These are really quick and easy, most you can simply plug in and you’re good to go. The computer will recognize it as a Mass Storage Device and you’ll be able to use it just like a huge flash drive. You can leave it plugged in on your computer or you could unplug it and move it to a different computer and have all your files on it.

The other option you have is an internal drive, these you will have to install into your computer and i think you may have to ‘show’ your computer where they are, as in going in through the control panel and telling your computer to look for a new hard drive, but I am not sure about how this option works. External drives are just easier.

Another note, before buying your drive: do some research on the company that made it to make sure it’s a good hard drive, you don’t want to buy it and then having it fail on you in a week. If the price looks to good to be true, make sure to especially check the trustworthiness of the drive because generally (but not always) a lower price will mean the drive will fail faster. A good rule of thumb to go by is 10gig a dollar when you’re shopping in the 750gig-1.5terabyte size drives.

If its 8 years old, you really should just wipe the hard drive, the amount of junk youve accumulated by now is gigantic, which easily could be bogging down your hard drive making everything slow. Copy any stuff you might need onto a flashdrive/external hardrive and re=instal your OS from scratch, should help your computer A LOT. Also, if thats still slow, or you just want it to go faster, install Ubuntu (linux – free), and that will run faster than and windows OS you could have…

if you dont want to wipe it, i cant really help you with just getting rid of the virus if youve already tried installing some cleaners… i can recomend some others to try though if you want: “SpyBot: Search and Destroy” and “Ad-Aware” are the two that I use, both really good. You could also try CCleaner, but thats not really made for viruses, just for cleaning crap. (Thats what the first C stands for…)

Here’s how I see it: when the community, and the website, is small, spammers have no one to spam. As the community grows, the spammers flock to it to, well, spam the living day lights out of everyone. Once a sight gets to a certain point, one of two things happen: the spammers are kept at a point where they can be controlled or the sight becomes like Newgrounds. hope that makes sense.

two very good anti-spy ware apps, i recomend you download and run them pronto. I’ve been running both for years. They can work together even though they give you a little message saying that they may not be compatible. No need to reformat your whole hard drive (thats a big unneeded hassle). any quetions send me a shout/wisper

Don’t you think developers should be a group? I dont me the average folk that take a 30min stab at flash or whatever, I mean people like Aeiuw (not sure of spelling), one of the creaters of dinowaurs, and the guy who drew the cards for kongai, i talked to him once! i felt so special, i cant remember his name though… but he was lvl 1, but had all the cards, it was kinda cool… and other people like that… that just make your mouth drop because of the sweet stuff they’ve made or helped make
