Topic: Mech Conquest /
Thanks for the advice asanta! I’ll be sure to try that. I know I tried disassembling one mech before and it didn’t have any effect, but maybe I did it after pairing or something.
However the problem does still remain and should definitely be looked at, especially since it’s pushed a few new players away. I do hope something gets worked out.
Just tested and this is a valid solution for dealing with the battle matcher. It also seems to work if you make the crappiest mech you can then go back and change all it’s parts out, the lower your mech score the lower your opponent’s will be.
As a suggestion I think a good way to combat people abusing this in the future would be to reward a number of tokens based on the opponent’s mech power relative to your own, and also give a list of opponents to choose from. Ie: I have 80 power and a list of 3 opponents with powers of 20, 70, and 100. Obviously the 20 power wouldn’t stand a chance so they’re only worth 1token, the 70 could put up quite a fight so maybe 2 tokens, and the 100 would be tough so 3 tokens. Again that’s just an example and it’s only a suggestion there are many ways this could be applied unless the developers already have better plans.
