On Hot Leap my fastest time after countless tries would NOT dip below 6.45 seconds until I lagged it up big time. It seems my timer already hits .45 to 1 second before the game recognizes my arrow key is pressed and starts moving.

This is a tough one for there are many genres and sub genres of Punk.

My top 5 are Pre “Life Won’t Wait” Rancid, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Fear, Misfits.

Yes, Yes..it’s a blatant tribute to Not Pr0n but we tried to 1) Cater to an American playerbase 2) Make the puzzles so you didn’t need to have advanced Photoshop skills to beat it 3) Create riddles that didn’t involve obscure German candybars Not Pr0n fans will get that

What’s so hard about it?

I got the badge with 2 clerics in front, 2 rangers in the rear.

Load the Clerics with Quickness items, Anoint each Ranger, then Hail of Arrows ANY group of monsters into a first round death (even bosses).

Once you get past level 20 or so it’s tedium.

Topic: General Gaming / Dolphin Olympics, Tailslides?

This is a trick from the original DO.
When you do a tailslide, immediately double tap the up key, do whatever tricks you want in the air, then as soon as you hit the water, press up again and you’ll notice a BIG speed boost.

I tend not to even do tailslide until I’ve got at least 10 starslides under my belt. To rack up speed, I just do near horizontal jumps over and over with maybe a flip til around 1:15 secs.
You should have enough speed to do a vertical jump to the moon and nab that starslide cluster.

My personal favorite is my ESP Viper 301. I’m going to rip out the factory EMG pickups and put something more substantial in because they seem to have totally “weird” sweet spots for false harmonics. (Usually more than half an inch apart!).

Very solid construction though. I’ve only had to get one set up done in 3 years playing time. Oh, and Ernie Ball Super Slinkys for strings, Fender Frontman Amp.

It works, believe me!

I got the badge after dying during the later levels and Retrying just to see if I could beat the game, let alone get the badge.

I didn’t purposely “sandbag” it just to get the badge, as I got it the very first day it went live…BUT it works and I posted the tactic.

You should make completion of DTD 1.5 “The 100” challenge mode an impossible badge :)

Ring Pass Not

Your main goal here during the first levels (Sand Sorcerer) is to accumulate as many power-ups as you can for use during the extremely hard later levels.

The easiest one to me is 4 of each symbol (Sol, Stella, Terra, Luna).
This will give you 10 Tiles and a Joker.
If you do not get this combo during the first level, quit and try again.

Try and achieve the 4 Symbols in every Sand Sorcerer level. I usually try my best in each level without resorting to using a Draw power-up. If you HAVE the last tile but can’t fit it..don’t hesitate to use a Joker. You’ll get it right back AND 10 more tiles!

For The Last Stand , the badge can be easily obtained if you have enough time and patience. The goal is 700 headshots in a single game…but the game never ends if you don’t let it!

Die on purpose during the later days and then hit “Retry”…repeat ad nauseum til you get your 700!

I love the new Badge system. It reminds me so much of the City of Heroes badges, in which I became obsessed with collecting them all!

As a new Kongregate member, I never had the opportunity to play most of the games here so the badge challenges were fresh and addictive to me.

Keep up the great work and consider me a devoted fan!
