Topic: Technical Support / Problem with Interac

I’m not even sure that you’re even the ones who can help, but I figured it’s worth a shot. Apparently my banking institution changed the number of characters in their access card code or something, because it won’t let me enter the whole thing when I select it. If I access the bank’s site itself, it’ll let me do it, but I don’t see any way to pay Kongregate from there. There is actual money I’m trying to pay you guys, but I don’t have any way to do so unless this gets fixed.

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / MEGATHREAD: Battle Arena

This has probably been answered before, but I don’t feel like digging through the literally over nine thousand posts in this topic. Is there some kind of trick to the Corrupted Giant Treeman? The numbers make it look impossible to kill, and that’s before a ‘shield’ I remember mentioned somewhere but not elaborated upon, never mind that I don’t know the mechanics of its attack.

Wait, Purple bonuses are exponential? That would explain why my weapons have such ludicrous purple bonuses. (I have over nine thousand skill points in Legendary Weapon, due to shenanigans.)

Topic: General Gaming / Complete Walkthrough/Guide List (144 Guides)

Okay, how the censored is this topic not stickied? I actually searched ‘guides’ to find this topic again, and it wasn’t even on the first page of the search! It’s like there’s some sort of subliminal ‘ignore this’ aura over this topic, or something. Anyway, bump for great justice!

Topic: Clash of the Dragons / Draft Reports - Official

Draft ID:132429
Account ID: kong_ForceofLight

I’m not completely sure this is the right topic, but the problem is related to a draft, so it works. I drafted a foil Golden Glory, which I’d like to put in my normal deck, but it seems to have disappeared. What’s weird is that I have at least one card that I’m pretty sure I didn’t previously own that I drafted in the same draft, so I have no idea what’s going on.

I was actually going to post a suggestion, but first: it’s not from packs, so the rarity only really matters… halfway through this sentence I realize that you’re probably complaining about it being used in colosseum, which is rares only this week. That’s actually a pretty valid problem. On to my suggestion!

The Master Duelist’s Hat needs a serious buff. The Party Hat is strictly better, with the buff lasting an extra turn and applying to the whole party rather than just you. It just doesn’t seem worth getting to the rank it requires. While the Saber probably needs a buff too, at least it’s completely different than your other options for that slot.

What items are available in the Speedrun Shop? I can’t check because I’ve been secret file only for quite a while, and ascending normally would take far too long.

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / NOTICE: Dominator Gems and Unique Enhancements

Oh dear, this should be fun with my 9001 defense Dominator Gem. I’m secret file, so it’s totally okay to have shenanigans like this, and it’s not like this is even the first time my hax has caused problems with updates. The first time was back when I was only using the actual secret file menu, and my infinite coin gain bonus tripped some kind of check that meant I couldn’t get any more coins until I refreshed unless I used the menu to put it back at max. That still happens, by the way. The second time was when my items got locked because some people were using a bug to get way higher stats than normal, and the system took one look at my items and assumed I had been using the bug rather than the .sol editor I actually used. Ended up having to recreate my whole item set, replacing a generic hacked trinket from before trinkets were actually released with a Dominator Gem.

Everyone is hell-bent on their own opinion on the internet, I find arguing to be pretty pointless here. This isn’t debate club, or the Presidential Debates, it’s Kongregate.

Actually, it’d probably be empty, like the book “What men know about women” which is actually sold in stores, and which people presumably actually buy.

Topic: Epic War Saga / how is the earth dragon titan as a unit?

random fact: one set of Pegasus Knights can indefinitely stall an Earth Dragon, eventually killing it without it getting close enough to attack. I know this because they can do the same thing to Twin Diablos, although I can’t remember if I needed two sets for the two dragons.

EDIT: In case you don’t know, Pegasus Knights are Thunder, meaning they’re at an elemental disadvantage, but Pegasus Knights just happen to have the tactical advantage against slow single opponents due to knockback and shock (although shock doesn’t help here.)

On the topic of simulations, I have a question. Does anyone really care about battles simulated versus equally leveled opponents? PvP in this game is practically nonexistent, so it seems silly to me to base one’s build on it. Wouldn’t it be more practical to base our builds on the enemies we’ll actually face?

So here’s an offer, open to anyone. If you give me an idea of something to simulate, I’ll try. You can give me specific situations, including items, or you can just give me a quest, or even just a general concept. Provide me a question you’d like answered, and I’ll do my best to answer it for you.

But quite frankly, as far as the matchups I’ve been able to ensure are fairly handled by my code go, a 0:1:0 build is terrible. Putting some points into defense will almost always increase one’s win rate.

Wow, I can’t believe it took until the last post of page 4 for people to realize that question. To add insult to injury, the village idiot is the one who asked it. Oh well, a stopped clock is right twice a day and all that. To answer the question: no, there is no point in building for PvP because the AI will be controlling one of the players, and the AI is an idiot. Question: what enemy is there to face that would actually require an optimal build? Only one I can think of is CoT 3, and there’s currently no possible situation in which facing him would be an optimal choice.

TL;DR of whole topic: the optimal build for the game is far too hard to figure out considering there is no use for it, and the world is filled with people who need to read the book “How to win an argument” which I swear is an actual book which I read once.

@MoreWastedLife: the Galaxy Armor is much easier to obtain than the Galaxy Sword. The problem is that it’s still so hard to get that you might as well go all the way. However, the Galaxy Shield requires 6750 crystals to obtain, which strikes me as ridiculous considering that neither of the others require any crystals at all.

I’d agree with the consumable bit, but add one more thing: have equipped consumables automatically be replaced if you have more of them in your inventory. It’ll still be a coding headache if an opponent attacks you in arena while you’re in the middle of actually playing a mission, so it’ll probably never happen, but the fact that they are being abused is still accurate.

ForceofLight, theres no way hes going to get that many good skills…

As I even stated, there is currently only one hero in the game with no support skills, and that hero is considered the worst hero in the game. I intentionally gave him a lot of good skills, to prove that a hero with no support skills could be viable. Let’s be honest, the only universally good skills are Rage and Transfer; everything else is situational. Even Flaming Fists wouldn’t be good if it weren’t for the hero who has it being the element that’s easiest to boost.

Another typo: I can’t even remember how you spelled it, but the word is ‘fatality.’

An actual bug: 10-1’s Robo-Jack Mk II clones don’t actually spawn. He rarely even attempts to summon them, but when he does, they don’t actually appear.

Topic: Epic War Saga / What happens when typical Joe tries to craft Galaxy Sword.

It’s for two kinds of people: the people who want to get everything without having to pay real-life money, and the people who don’t want to end up at level 9999 and therefore stop getting free energy and action refills from leveling up. The latter type should, by all rights, include anyone who wants to actually play the game.

If you had actually read the topic, you would have made some form of reference to the fact that the points have been made, but you did not. Tell me, how is your argument different from Kholai’s, other than being far shorter and occuring a month later?

Topic: Epic War Saga / What happens when typical Joe tries to craft Galaxy Sword.

The whole point of this topic is that “typical Joes” don’t have the patience to actually obtain a Galaxy Sword. We’re talking nearly half a billion gold here, far out of the range of anyone but the most determined.

Topic: Epic War Saga / [Guide] Math Strategies

Have you actually read the whole topic? I’ll answer that: not by the definition of ‘read’ I’m using. I know this because all your points were made by Kholai more than a month before you. They weren’t actually resolved, granted, but you seem to think you are the first to come up with them. As for what he ‘flat-out made up,’ what he thought you said was actually said by Kholai, back in those posts that go into the points you made far more thoroughly, more than a month before you made them. By the way, did I ever say I even agreed with him? I guess most people aren’t used to people like me, who rarely imply anything.

In conclusion, he doesn’t have to refute your points because he’s already done so, and then some.

Topic: Epic War Saga / [Guide] Math Strategies

No, he is seriously going to dismiss everything you said with “Kholai made your point already, only he made it so thoroughly that he needed more than one post. Try reading the rest of the topic before commenting.” Granted, that only really applies to your last two paragraphs, whereas the rest… is actually also answered, in the form of “there’s enough points available that the convergence does happen,” combined with the implied “You didn’t read my post, so I’m not going to read yours.”

If you’re a lower level, you shouldn’t be farming for galaxy swords, plain and simple. Also, Epic Blade III is mana+M, so six of them is either max mana, or close enough that there’s no practical difference. I don’t know which because I don’t have six mana+M items yet, but one mana+L, three mana+M, and a spell cast immediately were enough to get an 8-cost unit out at a point where hotkeys were necessary, so I’m pretty sure it’s the former.

And I want the Magician hero from Epic War 4. Skills: Ice Blaster II, Thunder Storm 3, Meteor III, Twin Tornado. His special attack should be a poison pillar instead of the ice pillar he had in EW4, simply so that he has all the status conditions in the game at his disposal. I actually put in Meteor III over Fire Volcanoz III to eliminate redundancy in that regard. Also, no Ice Blaster III because no such spell currently exists. (Yes, I realize a major reason Dragonzord is so terrible is that he only has attack skills, but Simon should be a good deal faster, and has 4 spells worth using to Dragonzord’s 1. The only problem is trying to decide which of his spells to use in any given situation.)

Topic: Epic War Saga / Pikalyze's EWS Money Farming Guide

I got stuck on chapter six’s boss back when it was actually the last mission, stopped playing and came back to much better stuff and a video walkthrough that gave a strategy that worked. Incidentally, on the gold/energy ratio, 7-2 gives a better ratio, but has far worse drops. Also, 9-3’s rare drop is worth 750k, and although that’s what it costs in the shop, I do mean it is in fact worth the money. Its common drop is also something that is basically required for consistent wins against some of the later missions.

ewsaga_god is level 9999 with only 13 wins and no battle points. He’s not using equipment, and his hero is freaking Dragonzord, commonly agreed upon as the worst hero in the game. Given the name, I’m pretty sure it’s not the guy’s main account. I actually saw him yesterday, with only the starting units and still level 9999, and I’m surprised he hasn’t been banned yet.
