I didn’t really “take advantage of IAB”, per se, on purpose, it was more of a “I wonder what would happen if…” and apparently pulling an entire site full of bored people to Kong was a good idea :)

Before I ever referred anyone, I was at level 24. Since then, I have referred 772 people, and that has gotten me this far. So yeah, you’d be surprised how many points that even 500 minions referrals get you, so 500 should be plenty to get you to level 64.

One time at track practice, I almost got hit in the head with a discus. I was going out to get the one I had just thrown, I bent down to pick it up, and all of the sudden I heard a wooooosh and felt the wind in my hair as a discus someone threw came within inches of my head. Mind you a discus is 1.6k of metal thrown with pretty significant force, I was about 130 feet away so that thing was going fasssssst.

Oh, and once I got hit by a car. I was in a pretty big parking lot, and my friends and I were leaving the store. My friend got in his car and started driving at me. My idea was that he was going to drive very close to me just to scare me, so I just stood there. When he was about 5 feet away and not turning at all, I had one of those “OH SH!T” moments, and in a split second, the idea that came to my head was just to jump up in the air. I jump, rolled over the windshield, flew up in the air, and landed smack on the pavement. I actually think I broke a couple ribs, but I never bothered to get it checked out.

Firefox is the best browser that is out there, and the add-ons for it make it that way. There are a few add-ons I have now on firefox that I don’t know how I lived without (mouse gestures, greasemonkey, Tab Mix Plus, and all-in-one sidebar just to name a few). And with a couple of about:config tweaks, you can seriously cut down the memory usage. I’m probably running 30+ add-ons at any given time with a crappy Inspiron B120 laptop and I have no problems at all.
