bcuz the gems he compares it with arent surrounded by amps either. ofc you can increase the %, but that doesnt matter pure theoretically, if you’re just comparing, and i think that if you go with the amps, longterm wise the yellow gem will soon outrun the red one. x500.000 dmg is hard to get with a red gem i think

ok, so i just went and killed the 1337 waves off with a trap gem and the game crashed when i killed the last one. so not gonna do that again

ye, just so you guys know, i’m am talking about and endurance like run for this , not just completing the game. so i was wondering if this can be completed like an endurance run.

i’m now doing the final lvl run for the first time, how do you complete it? cheesing like the other pylons or like an endurance run(kill off all the waves) or what.

i’m currently just upping my mana farm, let me know what to do pls xd

not quite sure the reason for it but yes, in GCL when you add a lower grade gem to a quite higher grade gem you lower it’s power.
In gemcraft chapter zero when you would “infuse” grade1/2 gems into a grade 5 for example repeatedly it would increase it’s attack speed etc. in GCL this is no longer the case.
that’s why we use the amplifiers to increase the attack speed/dmg/special power etc.

maybe some of the more experienced ppl in GCL could explain more thoroughly on the mechanics of this.

… you dont need to paste when clicking a file? you just need to copy the desired file and paste it in the FOLDER and then click “copy and replace”

as far as i know that’s where they post updates on the development. the general ideas of the game mechanics are not going to change fast i think. so we’ll have to work with this info.

personally he has some solid ideas there. one particular thing i like is that he’s throwing away the amulet system for xp multiplier. it’s good to read that how good you play overall in your game will influence the amount of xp you earn. eg. the amount of kills you get, amount of summoning, mana earned etc

what would you guys want to see changed/added to GC2?

when i completed the first lvl endurance WGTF etc i needed a G32 gem too. the damage depends on resonance(and the amount of yellow in your gem ofc).. so dont forget that in your calculations infiniteVoid

quick question about the pylon cheesing.
when i tried doing what (gremlion i think) posted a link about, poison gem traps, and then summoning one wave ALOT and when the wave is out, finish the map by completing the pylon. when i tried it i didnt get a summon multiplier.
why is this?

is there a thread floating around somewhere with a general tactic on how to do endurance? i mean, the basics are building mana farm traps that have L/O right? but i would appreciate a nice guide to go through it step by step on how to set it up decently etc. i saw one guide but that was for like lvl 3000..

I know how to endurance pretty much (gemcraft chapter 0 player) but the mechanics and gems work quite differently on labyrinth ^^ no more 24+mana traps with AOE dmg on 1 level to endurance right?
