Topic: General Gaming / [GemCraft chapter 0] High Level Skill Allocation Question (Grimlion Analysis Request!)

If you’re going to beat endurance with monsters getting thoughter (10 trillion hp), you will definitelly need to pool a lot (like up to 220 million mana) and here’s where high Focus is needed. Extending it by step of less than 4000 each time really took forever to me.

ctrl+shift+click on waves is even faster, at least all monsters will be released in the background and you can do something else on your compuer.

Nice to know! Otherwise I would never end my current run :P Just let all waves above 155 go (with 10 trillion xp, ofc).

You should summon a hell up to 120-130th wave, over 100 monsters each time. More creeps => more mana => even more creeps and firepower. Use LO traps with hundreds of creeps to mananapool very often and very high.
Then reduce summoning and start builiding firepower. Grade 21 YOL (with strong yellow component) can inflict enough damage to stop monsters with 3,333,333,333 hp at regular count.

Topic: GemCraft Labyrinth / [GemCraft Labyrinth] more help!

Well, after finishing game around level 150 I just picked every map with maxed settings and got 5-6 levels from it. Survival on K10 got me over 100.

RLY trap worked well and cut all called early monsters once I made it grade 21. You need huge mana pool for that, don’t hesitate to combine 32 gems in order to push its level higher. Also, it’s good to have 3-4 powerful LY gems before it to supply you with enermous stream of mana.

Summoning multiple times rises hp exponentially, so you might have exceeded total number capacity :P Or some roundings kicked in and screwed the arithmetic.

You need to summon lots (and lots, lots!) of monsters and drain mana from them with orange/lime gems, preferably in a chain of traps surrounded by amplifiers as in the picture above – minimum grade to make them useful is 5.
After some point you will see your mana skyrockets and killing the monsters will be you least trouble ;)

The other question is how to assemble 59.283 billion gem with only 1,8 billion mana pool?

I don’t believe it’s possible. With level over 150 and premium account I managed to do it within 60 waves, though it was long, laggy battle with hundreds of giants on a screen and shrine festival.

You can try to create powerful mana trap farm with support of amplifiers and dozens of creeps, though I doubt it will double your kill count.

There’s a trick with red in a TRAP. Yes, the bonus damage does not scale with trap efficiency so even one of them can hold many waves once you make it spin. Of course, it’s not enough on its own, but makes a good trick.

Still, red is very effective against normal monsters before you complete about 2/3 of Labyrinth and monsters hp becomes high.

I find posion very effective against swarms, especially when you have no access to lime or red in early stages of game. However, it can never be your only strategy.

I was trying to get 7000 kill amulet without Endurance mode.

Now I realized that was wrong field…

Now invert the equation and show us multiplier as a function of monsters summoned and killed :P

No, it’s Armagemdon!

(Just passing by, enough playing games for now).

Don’t tell me you managed to wear down monsters with millions of billions hp? Your gem does only 10B damage per hit :P

Still, it’s sick what you’re doing here. How did you manage to raise your mana pool so high? Not only is does costs, but also takes time.

I did 1337 run around level 100, and jumped up by 45 or more levels ;)

Yes, you need to drop the bomb on the monster bar.

You know, I don’t perform simple tricks and use always same combination of gems. Neither complain about game’s simplicity, which is not true. I just play it as it was meant to be played and enjoy it for all this time.

Didn’t complete it yet, though.

Hues were intentionally moved a bit as RGB color format does not exactly correspond to spectral characteristic of human eye. Now they are easier to tell apart.

If it goes infinite, it must be an exponential equation. Probably if you summoned only 10K monsters, the multiplier would be around a billion or something.

No, it’s not 4 per grade even without this skill. Grade 3 summons 13 monsters, grade 5 25. I believe every next grade starting from 3 gives one more monster than previous, but did not take notes here.
And yes, I anger a lot.

Yes it is, but it asks me for a credit card which I don’t have (and don’t really need one). What’s the point of using Paypal then? I can’t buy full version!?
