Actually i think that if he changes the password on edgebee it wont affect the automatic Kongregate login. So you could still play but you will be sharing the character with someone else.
So, whoever you give it to will have to talk with the admins on edgebee to unlink the account from kongregate. I don’t think they’ll want to do that.

You can migrate your account to edgebee, and it will create an account on edgebee with your character (same name) but with a different password than your Kongregate password. Then you can just give that name and password to whoever you want, without any danger to your Kong account.
But you will never be able to play SP2 on Kongregate again. (If the new owner changes the password on edgebee, which he should).

To Seacotton: I had that problem too, i think what you have to do is talk to baron again after you kill or defeat him.

I’m missing the church egg too, and one more (not sure which one). There are 16 egg locations shown in wikia, i ran through all of them (three times) and i only get 14. Logged out and back in, still no eggs. Refreshed page, no eggs. Looks like no easter for me.

That doesn’t prove anything. Certinaly there were conversations between GS-Kong and GIAB even before the game was finished, at least to let them know they were working on it, since Kong is the biggest site (or one of the). And since it now belongs to Gamestop it is even much more than every other site. It’s not like one day they woke up and saw it on Armor Games, and called them to please put the game here.

Topic: GemCraft Labyrinth / remmber when flash games were free

While i was writing my last post i realized something, which is obvious to me now. Kongregate is no longer Kongregate. Kongregate is dead, it is now part of Game Stop, which is a COMPANY that ONLY does business. It is no longer a community for people to share for free (broadly speaking, of course there still are free uploaders), instead it’s turning into a business.

ANSWER THIS. How do you know that it’s not GameStop-Kongregate that is forcing developers into putting the pay to play BS in their games, or is it just the Devs.?
THINK ABOUT IT.
Isn’t it odd the sudden rise of pay to play content we are seeing lately, even in very lame games, after Kongregate being sold.
THINK ABOUT IT AGAIN.

Thing is, these are flash games, not,you know, game games. These are games that don’t cost anything to produce and they already get some of the ad revenue. These are games that are supposed to be free without any payment.

Wait a minute, Allegedly “free” but to get half ~5% the stuff you have to pay? Majority of the good but-you-shouldn’t-have-to-give-out-of-your-pocket but you “shouldn’t” have to spend 5 minutes doing surveys games require money for about half ~5% the game? Dear god, Kongregate is turning into a “free” MMO

Actually, it isn’t free at all to make flash games (especially in large companies). You have to pay for most of the tools you use, and in companies you have to pay staff wages, which is already expensive, and probably isn’t even half of the expenses.

That’s another thing i was going to mention, the companies. I do not recall for sure but i guess that Kongergate was first founded as a community place for people who wanted to share their games to others for free and in good spirit, not as a place for companies to come and do business. If you want to do business do it in your OWN building, and stay out of the community.
If you go to the Amish with a cart full of food and share it in good spirit for all their community, and then 1 hour later you step to the side, pull a curtain and say: “i also have some whisky and naughty’s for sale for only 5 dollars”, how long would it take for them to get mad. LOL.

I’m going to say this again here. It’s obvious that everyone has to get money for their work, except those that don’t NEED it, and do it for free. But if you’re going to charge to play, do it on YOUR OWN webpage, not on a page where it says “free games” all over the place. Take the Premium out of the game in Kongregate, i don’t even want to see it, and put it just in YOUR page and let people pay and play there.
And (this is just a wild guess) how do you know that Kongregate does not recive a comission of that pay, since it’s lending the page for them to publicize a sale, the same as ad’s do. And if that were the case then the “motto” of Kongregate would be blown away.
They put their game with the premium here because millions of people go through Kongregate, whereas if it was just on their page they wouldn’t have millions of people visiting, a mere fraction instead. And that is something worthy of charging a comission for.
Rant off.

Topic: Technical Support / Fix for Keys sticking in Games in Internet Explorer

Thanks “amtie”, your fix works fine. Just run your IE8 on administrator, no big deal. Just right click on the IE icon on the desktop and press “run as administrator”.

Didn’t try the “unchecking protected mode” (too risky).
I did try adding Kongregate on “trusted sites” with all unchecked (didn’t work).
