That man does not speak for us. :( Ancient Aliens makes my blood pressure rise.

How about this instead: “I don’t know, therefore, let’s consider all possibilities and how much evidence each possibility currently holds, while working to disprove or support all ideas as much as the evidence allows to the fullest extent of the scientific method.”

I guess that’s not catchy enough for a meme…

They care so much that whenever they see something they cannot immediately explain, they automatically assume that aliens must have done it.

The fact that it cannot be explained is precisely the point.

If you are a truth seeker, you just want to know things. Aliens are only one possibility, but the evidence seems to point in the general direction of something extra-terrestrial. If the evidence pointed in a different direction instead, then that alternate possibility would receive more consideration.

what’s there to care about?

If you’re a truth seeker, the truth is its own destination.

New link, Buzz Aldrin discusses a UFO sighting during the Apollo 11 mission: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlkV1ybBnHI

Also, Wikileaks cables! They seem to fit the original disclosure topic, so I added them to the first post.

Edit #2: Okay, now that wasn’t so hard!

And yet you posted a video of a machine being exposed to a crop circle and not breaking down.

The electromagnetic radiation from a fresh crop circle is enough to disrupt sensitive equipment close to the ground. It is not enough to destroy a military helicopter in the air.

I’m not impressed.

I’m not trying to impress you. I’m trying to encourage you to put some effort into researching this.

Show me the news stories about soldiers taking cover in crop circles while being chased by tanks.

That’s an oddly specific request, but here’s some video footage of balls of light and a military helicopter flying around a crop circle.

Interesting. I’m just not sure if it’s real, or a voice over.

He’s very outspoken on this topic; that’s just one video. You won’t have any difficulty finding more from him. He did an interview on RT.

alien believers start with a conclusion and look for any evidence that supports it, while dismissing anything that proves them wrong.

No, we’re starting with the evidence. There’s no shortage of it. If you have some evidence that proves this wrong, then please present it. Like I said before, I haven’t solidified my own beliefs yet. Is the same true of you, or is your mind already made up before investigation?

To be fair, though, even if he produced photos, you’d cry they were Photoshopped.

Yes, this is the problem. You can find some photos here, but they could very well be fabricated.

page 2 and still no PROOF.

“Proof” is not how science works.

Still, my point is: WHY?

This is a much more difficult question to answer. I have my own theories, but they’re not substantiated. We’d need to know for sure whether or not they’re actually here before we could even begin to imagine why.

Allies of Humanity claims to have the answer to this question, but I’m not going to assert that any of it’s true. (TL;DR: resources)

Also, different beings could be here for different reasons.

Hey guys, just a quick update: How Dare You might get another tweak or two before badges. Maybe it’s just me, but the new boss at the end seems pretty hard…

I’m adding Mighty Knight because it’s a good all-around candidate, but I haven’t played it yet. Contract Wars is also on my agenda now, and the developer of Echoes has responded back with his intention to fix the API in the next week or two.

No, I’m not sure of anything. This may very well be the case.

I just loved the pseudo-scientific explanation of crop circles – here’s a better one.

We already know that some crop circles are made with planks and boards. However, there is a second category that contains electromagnetic residue, among many other oddities. See this and this. Those types have yet to be explained. Hoaxers only wish they could take credit for that second category. But yes, no one is disputing that some crop circles are made with planks and boards. This is obvious to anyone who actually looks into the matter.

are you seriously suggesting that there has been an inter-galactic war on American soil (always American isn’t it?) and nobody noticed?

I am not suggesting anything at all. But the allegation from others is that lots of people actually have noticed. Many of them have come forward. I only linked to a few. You can research it further; there’s no shortage of information out there. The problem is that these people always disappear, and most people don’t take them seriously anyway. It’s not just America, though — Phil Schneider actually claims that there’s more activity in China. An Australian has come forward with similar claims.

I’m not trying to convince you. I’m just trying to have a discussion. I haven’t even formulated my own beliefs yet. This could all very well be complete nonsense, but I’m not going to dismiss everything just because it doesn’t fit into my worldview.

Documents 1 & 2

Witness 1 & 2

There’s no shortage of witnesses, but they mysteriously disappear a lot. Phil Schneider (from the first video) died right after speaking out.

Maybe none of this is true, but it still seems worth a discussion.

If you go through all the stuff on Huffingtonpost, it’s almost exclusively Americans making claims about aliens. I would just love to know what makes the USA so irresistible to aliens that the rest of us hardly get a look in.

The conference was in America. Other countries (especially in Central America) actually talk about this stuff a lot more than we do. And this thread is about a Canadian…

Hypothetical, right? No, it already happened, last year, by the Canadian minister of defense: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDuqZbjxB_E

It corroborates with a ton of other leaks and reports, but none have been so public from such a high-level government official. This kind of seems like a big deal. Shouldn’t we at least be talking about this? Let’s start with this thread!

Bonus: Astronaut Buzz Aldrin also discusses a UFO encounter during the Apollo 11 mission

Bonus #2: Wikileaks cables!

We’re actually doing really well. Here’s the most recent earnings call transcript. Check out this quote:

I played that weeks ago, when the comments are like, “is that an April Fools again?”

You can see how Evildog reused the voice-acting.

I think it actually was partially meant as an April Fools’ joke. This was what EvilDog messaged me with on the day he uploaded it:

EvilDog: Kong ok with april fools game?
EvilDog: hehehe
EvilDog: it’s still playable but…yeah haha it’s….unusual

Yeah, I know. I was able to fix the easy badge by manually changing the old binary stat to the new “level” stat, but the stat being used for the medium badge is just not being submitted anymore, and there’s no equivalent that I can switch it to. I’m reaching out the the developer now about this. People need to stop changing API implementations in games with badges… :(

The easy badge in Crystal Saga is (mostly) fixed now. It doesn’t update in real time, but it should submit on game load. It looks like the developer just stopped submitting stuff to us in one of the updates — I’m trying to get in touch with them now.

I’ll retire the Grinns Tale badges, also.

I am sad to report that Cooper has passed away after several months of struggling with failing kidneys. He will be greatly missed, and the office won’t be the same without him.

Give your pets an extra long hug today in Cooper’s memory.
