Topic: Game Programming / Webcam, Multi Motion track

Hello everyone,
I made few test using a webcam as the game’s controller – http://www.kongregate.com/games/marcosvpj/fight-trainer – but I have problems with the track motion, I can’t define more than one area of motion at same time.

I using AS3 and this lib: http://blog.soulwire.co.uk/code/actionscript-3/webcam-motion-detection-tracking

The author of lib said that next idea is divide the screen into a grid.
But, I can’t wait for he, and I want to do this by myself.

I made this pseodocode:

var minGrind:int = 15;
for(var i:int = minGrid; i<camW; i+=minGrid;){
for(var j:int = minGrid; j<camH; j+=minGrid;){
if ( isMoving(i, j, i+minGrid, j+minGrid) ){
if ( hasAnythingAt(i,j) ){

}

Someone know how do something like that?

I’m starting with AS3, I made 2 little games, but with no structure.
So, this class, where I put them? In the stage?
And the loadIntro() and loadMenu(), I need new class for each? In my games the menu is just another frame and I use the gotoAndStop, in this example how did work? Is a MovieClip object?
Another question, the NewGameButton class just is a commom button or any thing more advanced?

What ActionScript you use?
And yes, just put inside the frame, but the part “new Enemy()” you change to enemy class that you use.
