you are partly right (the bits where you say there is little risk from the new code, and the bit where you agree with me :)) but please read my post again, this time with your tongue in your cheek, you will see I was simply exaggerating for comic effect.

The likelyhood of a company ACCEPTING NEW CODE FROM a serial cheater, who was banned, and who’s final act before this was to try and exploit a bug to the detriment of the entire user base, on a large 4 day long easter special event.

I’m sure the devs cant wait to hand you the whole source code to have a play around with…..
maybe they will just email you the web site admin details and let you improve everything while they go take a well deserved nap…..

No, banning scripters/cheats actually protects the player base, as if there is widespread successful cheating , no-one will ever want to pay for incremental bonuses/advantages. Without the admin using the ban hammer on cheats, people leave in droves at a rate of knotts

Its supposed to be difficult sometimes, to get the sock 3/legend components I have had to repeat MANY quest areas on NM sometimes several times to get the right drop. there’s nothing wrong with that. the chances are higher on NM than on legendary, but sometimes repeating the legendary is easier to do than repeating NM, good luck….

Others said it before , but its a really good idea,
Why not copy all the Isendel area, and create a harder version (+10 lvls entry for each area) and scale up the bosses/mobs accordingly, maybe even a super hard +20 lvls higher area too. coding and artwork can be kept the same to save on Dev time. this would add a massive expansion, with limited new coding/ testing required….

+2 local storage for common pictures is a well established internet feature, reducing server hits and speeding up the whole experience. my firefox usually hangs itself trying to load the craft general page…..lol

I get it too, a massive advert that you cant close for 10 secs, filling the whole window every time i log in/claim a shared crystal, its usually for some crappy american film that isnt out yet in Europe, or some new brand of sanitary towel, its so annoying , I am considering installing an adblock on the entire Kongregate site, (which I would rather not do, as occasionally I do click on the unobtrusive banner type adds, as these offer information, allowing some choice as to whether or not you want to waste your time on irrelevant adds)

probably when you have a high lvl (90)character, you arnt going to have any use for a few lvl 70 alts, but at some stages of the game, you can use these to rage bosses for you main character, have them donate coin to you new guild, have then kill a few alien portals to get your guild bonus up, collect daily mbs and donate weapons to the vault that your main can use/sell, collect stones for wonders etc etc etc ..

other times people leave the game and hand over their character to their guild mate, who then might have 2 decent characters to control.
I can see many reasons why and how people can abuse the systems, luckily most dont hurt other players so its not too bad. Many other games are affected by people using alts , and the anger stems from the fact that it is usually a bad thing

but these people are cheating in a sense, people will very quickly cease to play/pay to play, if others abuse the game, and get away with it.
cheating in games is fun for about 10 minutes, then no one wants to play any more…………………..
