Topic: Game Programming / AS3 Project: Flashdevelop

Ok I am a grade 10 student, I want to study IT and become a programmer. I got flashdevelop now but I’m searching the web for a very nice tutorial. But came up with no luck. The problem I have is that I have wonderful scratch (that cat program) experience and a little delphi experience (mostling the layout not much coding. Except I know “windows.beep” very well.) I want to learn about all those basic stuff like strings and rich edit and ect. Any usefull advice- I am excited and anxious to learn so please don’t brake me down.
Then secondly when I tried to understand the other tutorials I came across “{}” what is that brackets for?

I am but im still studing and I actually tried to find stencyl but I just couldnt.
I ask many game developers on kong but they led me to software that you buy- i cant affort anything over $3

well i got this programming software – the only free program and now i got a massive problem. There is no tutorial. any advice on how to use it?
