LOL POST FAIL ABOVE anyway part 3…

“What do you mean no!?” I exclaimed, the old man just calmly looked up at me and replied “I do not take students”, “But you have to train me” I pleaded, “I don’t have to do anything, now please leave me be”. “Come now Yamada” interrupted Botan “The boy needs your help and besides you owe me for that time I saved your life, consider this repayment”, “I would have survived!” Yamada argued “I just wouldn’t have been able to eat solid foods…”, he looked up and sighed “Oh alright, what is your name lad?”. “Err well you see I’m not really sure” I replied sheepishly, bemused Yamada looked towards Botan who then explained my condition. “Hmm that is a problem…” he thought for a moment, “How about Jiro? For a name”. “Jiro, yeah that could work…”. “Good, come to me when you are ready for your first lesson”.

“Argh!” I fell to the ground as another blow hit me in the kidneys, “You’ll have to do better than that” Yamada said lowering the wooden sword. “What is the point in this?” I growled, ripping off the blindfold and dropping my own wooden sword. “I am improving your senses and reactions, there are things that the eyes cannot detect but the other senses can”. he replied calmly, “Now put on your blindfold so we may continue”. We had been training at the back of the Inn every afternoon for around 3 months now and I had already mastered the basic sword techniques but fighting blindfolded was something I couldn’t seem to grasp yet. “Yes Yamada” I groaned and picked up my sword and blindfold. “This time listen to my sound shadow”, “Sound shadow?” I asked bemused, “The gap in the natural sounds of the area, this will indicate where I am, then you can listen for the sound of my sword cutting through the air and detect where I will strike”. I took up a defensive stance and listened for the sound shadow, I turned to where I thought Yamada was and instinctively raised my sword when I heard a sharp swish. There was a loud CRACK and my arm shuddered from the impact of our swords colliding, “Very good, your getting the hang of it”. The lesson continued for a while until he called a stop and we went inside to eat. "Soon you will be able to handle a real sword and then you can go on your journey, I beamed at this and went to bed thinking what would wait for me on the road to the Halo mountains…

Ok I’ll bring out next part soon, now if you don’t mind I have been leaning over my laptop funny and I need to lie down and sort my neck out…

Part 3… (yeah that was fast wasn’t it?. Ok but it took less time then the last)

PART 2 or chapter 2 or volume 2 or whatever…

I lay down in the bed for a while before deciding to get up, ignoring the pain in my shoulder I walked out of my room to see what seemed to be an Inn. Their were men and women gathered around tables drinking and chatting. Behind a counter stood the large man that had bandaged me, he was completely bald apart from his pencil thin moustache and weared plain brown robes. He saw me and hurried across the room, “You shouldn’t be up” he chided. “I’ll be fine” I grunted “Now who are you and where am I?”, he frowned “My name is Botan and this is the Smiling Fish Inn”.
“No what I meant was where are we located?”, bemused he replied “Newood city”. I racked my brain but the place didn’t seem familiar, “What country are we in?”, looking even more confused he replied, “I don’t know what you mean by country but we are in the south west of Oryx’s realm”.

After talking to Botan and explaining my condition he told me that Oryx was a mad god and thousands of years ago he trapped the humans in this realm, “Some say he used to be the god of war, he is ruthless and has trapped mankind in a realm of deadly monsters and spirits” he told me. “Is there no way of escaping?” I asked, he sadly shook his head “Many have searched for an exit, a portal to another realm but the only place we found is The Nexus. This is where our mighty warriors meet to hatch plans to save mankind from this prison”. I just nodded as he spoke trying to make sense of all this, “It is unfortunate that you lost your memories but there may be a way to get them back”. “How?” I asked urgently, “You can visit the mountain God Canin, he may restore your memories”. “Where can I find him?”, “He is at thepeak of the Halo mountains east of here. But the way is long and treachourous, you will not survive without help or training”. “Training?” I asked intrigued, “Learning to defend yourself will increase your chances against monsters and bandits”, “Who would train me?”, Botan pointed at an old man leaning on his walking stick, “Him?!” I laughed, “Do not be fooled, he was once a mighty warrior and is still highly capable with both sword and hand to hand combat”. I looked at the old man in disbeleaf, but decided that he could be my only hope.

Sorry this one contained alot of talking and no action but I gotta make some kind of plot right?
Sorry about any spelling errors to, I’ll get to work on the next part soon.

I opened my eyes to see that I was in a large room on a straw bed, I tried to sit up but then my left shoulder flared with pain. I fell back onto the bed trying to remember anything, where I was, what was wrong with me and who I am…
The mast of the boat burst into flame and another ship came into view, firing cannonballs at the ship, I just stood paralysed with fear as another cannonball came crashing towards me …

I roared in pain as my left shoulder flared once again in pain waking up from my nightmare, what was this ship? Was it a flash back? I soon found myself slipping back out of concioussness…

A sailor dragged me out of the way as the deck where I was standing burst open, ‘PIRATES!’ he roared as the other ship came along side ours and the pirates started to board…

I screamed again as I woke up trying to supress the pain in my shoulder, then the door opened and a large man came to look at my wound, ‘Wh- who-’ I rasped but he just pushed my head back down on the pillow and rebandeged my shoulder, ‘Rest’ he said then left…

The pirates were slaughtering everyone on the ship as I just stood watching in horror, a knife shaking in my hands, then I saw a pirate plunge his sword into a mans chest, I don’t know why but that made me mad and I had a feeling I knew that man being killed. I roared and dived at the pirate, plunging my knife in his back before he could even face me, then something struck my left shoulder and I collapsed against the rail…

I woke up again gasping, what were these visions? I thought of the man that had been killed and a memory came back to me, that man was my father…

The pirate that had slashed my shoulder was now advancing on me, I looked around, the rest of the ships crew were being killed and i had no hope of saving the ship, looking at the pirates grim smile then down at the ocean I saw only one option. So I stood on the rail and jumped…

I woke up again to find a bowl of soup and a mug of water beside me, I needed to figure out where I was what had happened and who I am.

I hope you guys liked that and please tell me if i should continue this story.
