In-battle AFK for catacombs is kinda pointless when killing the mobs takes only 1 turn. For protracted battles, it is usually more cost-effective overall to just spend the gold to blitz. The removed AFK mode benefits the players more for the lower levels of the catacombs.

I’d have to disagree that it is pointless. Catacomb runs take up so much time, it makes perfect efficiency sense to run AFK for the lower levels until we get the tougher ones. It allows me to do other stuff like check emails, read up guides etc without having to flip back and fro. And I’m not even reaching very deep into the catacombs, I’d hate to think how much of a long tedious run it would be for those reaching 50+ levels.

Starting from the top, not sure if the names mean anything though and too noob at this game to know what is the equivalent English Astral name :D

It probably is just you really. The reason why the rest of them also freeze is because your computer isn’t able to process anything (either it froze, possibly a software problem) or it isn’t getting any response from the server due to a poor connection. When it recovers and starts processing again, you see everybody else moving.

From their perspective however, it looks like you probably are just standing/spinning around in the same place.

To add on, before anybody start yelling “I’ve got 100Mbps internet, it can’t be slow”…

The xx Mbps of the Internet connection is just the bandwidth and unless something else is chewing up all the available bandwidth (such as Netflix or torrents), it is usually not a concern.

Lag in the case of network games is mostly affected by network latency (or putting it simply: ping time). This is often affected by the network distance to the server, e.g. if the server’s in New Zealand, signal from a computer in New York will have to cross half the world to reach the server and will always lag behind an equivalent computer that’s right in New Zealand itself.

So if you are killing the zeds at the same time as the guy in NZ, the server will always register his kills first, hence you get situations where you think you got 100000 kills but end up with a pathetic number of registered kills.

Usually for mobile games, there are compromises and limits on what is actually done compared to the PC. e.g. the devs might allow 1000 zeds to spawn on the PC version but limit it to 200 on a iPad.

Good luck! I lost 50k, personally, and I know how annoying it is to make cash sometimes. :S

Fastest way is to hitch a ride on Purge games where high levels take out nests really fast. You can get a few thousands for very little ammo used. Of course do your part in keeping the zeds off whoever is doing the nest clearing with their flamers or other WMDs.

Next would be to play SP using just the pistol and pickups so you don’t lose cash on ammo. Verd’s pretty good map for it because the zeds come swarming really fast and you can quickly pick them off.

Seriously cash is easy in this game as long as you don’t waste it on unnecessary weaponry. There’s really no need to buy every weapon.

It doesn’t always happen that’s why it’s an annoyance and I made it a habit simply to click the room type a few times before starting. But still, very now and then, it happens. :(

I’m not sure if it is purely a cosmetic issue or a permissions problem. But recently I started seeing the “delete post” for updates in the “Game News” for the game but I am not the developer of any games. Is this supposed to happen and we are actually allowed to delete the news?

Yes, please do have the “Do Not Spam” option. Some of us have absolutely no interest in these multi-player games (or games that resort to such tactics) and would never care to receive such “invitations”.
