herman li..and uh sam…nobody cares about the other guitarist anyway =P from dragonforce are the fastest guitarists ever…although they might speed up their songs, You never know

Slash is good, but he doesnt really tell a story with his licks like Jimi or Santana…also i think people pick him because hes in Guitar Hero….and “Everything in guitar hero is cool” is a very popular thing right now

if you’re looking for total feeling, theres no beating santana, Page, or even David Gilmour or Roger Waters from Pink Floyd, although they arent good solo players, their riffs and songs tell so much

listen and try to find out what they mean with their lyrics and licks on pink floyd songs from animals and the wall and you’ll know what i mean

honestly, I think that classic rock is most popular because of the fact that most new stuff…sucks, i’d like to be positive, but the top 40 charts are a bunch of god damn hannah montana’s, high school musical’s, and total sellouts

also i think classic rock and the black sabbath type metal is the easiest to listen to out of all the genres AND like Cmurda said, people think it’s cool it like a fashion to say that you listen to classic rock

yes…all the retarded “fall out boy is the greatest band in the world” shit is so bad…first of all if you like that music…fine, whatever, but take a moment to consider all the shit that bands that influences that music had to do to create pieces like stairway to heaven and freebird, while the fall out boy’s of the world shoot out songs with no thought whatsoever, they are sellouts, every single one of them…

I agree with Smigbob on the Fuel by Metallica…Load and Reload are total shit…btw i say this while being a total metallica fan, and to be honest the black album wasn’t that good either compared to justice for all, ride the lightning, and kill em all

anyway…i’d have to say Stairway to Heaven and Freebird are definately two of the greatest songs, ever, period

I’d also say that paschendale by Maiden ranks up there by the way.

There is no “Greatest Song of All Time” mostly because people can never agree on that subject but the previously listed songs rank up there…please tell me if i’m wrong
