Topic: Tyrant Unleashed: General / 3 days in, and the 9 day guild war is already complete

What you’re not thinking about the refinement process. You’ve got 3 days worth of fights, 1-2 of those days were taken out for balancing purposes, then you’ve got people who WORK WEEKENDS and people who WORK WEEKDAYS. Then, you’ve got people who go on vacations and this will help determine their participation during those vacation trips (WiFi is available everywhere in the US, some locations in Jamaica, etc.).

The first 3 days is a very, very rough start of the war. Keyword: Start. Consider the entire first 3 days as just the balancing act – you have to find where your guild sits best. Then, you have to find out how your guild sits in that balanced section. So, now is the refinement phase, because now you’ve found your 50 or so ranks of guilds that equally match you in decks and somewhat in activity. So, now the question is, where do you, really, rank among those 50 guilds? Are you Top, bringing your guild to Rank 100, or are you Bottom, bringing your guild to Rank 150!? That is the question.

Topic: Tyrant Unleashed: General / [Dev] Triumph War Details

I have a series of bugs to report for the Guild War (I assume this is version 0.1 or something?), but I can’t submit ANY screenshots because imgur’s upload feature is completely down.

  1. If you click the “!” button to view the guild stats, there’s a button for “Battle” – even with 10 turns, if you click it, nothing happens.
  2. After having 0 turns, it allows you to click the “Go Again” button, takes you to the battle screen, then says you have no turns.
  3. After having 0 turns, you can still select to start a battle by selecting a fortress card to attack. But, of course, you can’t actually fight.

Triumph Guild War
July 23rd – August 2nd
The planned format of this war is explained here.
The Turning Tides Battleground Effect will be active during this War. There will be no other BGE.

Guild War changes states that it’s supposed to start on Friday and end 9 days later on Sunday. July 23rd is a THURSDAY! So, which is it people!?

Topic: Tyrant Unleashed: General / [To Devs][Bug?] Cannot complete Legendary Quest for Daily Battle Achieve Completion During Raid!!!

I can’t tell if this is a bug or you guys did this on purpose, but when the Raid started at 17:00 UTC, I had 26/30 Daily Battle Achievements completed. Since then, I have completed another 2 more, and am still at 26/30. It appears that it is moving no where and as far as I know, it won’t move anywhere until the Raid is finished!

Is anybody else experiencing this!?

Except, he said that the Assault had Mortar on it, which is what I am seeing, but since I have no cards with Payback, I can’t answer the question for him. I’d assume that in a direct one-on-one, if the card is an Assault Card struck by Strike, then it will return said Strike to said Assault card. But that’s just me guessing.

Feeling wise, I would place Legacy Vindi at 1750 or 750, Legacy Legend at 8750 or 12500, and Legacy Epic at 17500.

I like the 750 or 1750 idea, but I think the others are too much of a stretch and may cause some level of imbalance in the game due to too many low-level rewards.

So, even though the player-based is currently a 50:50 on whether or not the new Matchmaking is better or worse, there is something else that needs to be considered: Top-Tier Rankings. It is a significant difference for players that end up in the top-tier, for every win or loss affects them majorly, and for every bit of energy lost, they stand not to make Top 200, but rather make Top 500.

My proposal is what people have been talking about all along, but with some form of logic involved.

Here’s the current system in place:

Rank 1-25000
Rank 1-20000
Rank 1-15000
Rank 1-10000
Rank 1-7500
Rank 1-5000
Rank 1-3500
Rank 1-2500 <- here is where the problem starts. Why a 3500, but not a 1750?
Rank 1-1000
Rank 1-500
Rank 1-200
Rank 1-100
Rank 1-50
Rank 1-10
Rank 1-3

Here’s what I’m proposing:

Rank 1-50000
Rank 1-25000
Rank 1-20000
Rank 1-15000
Rank 1-10000

Rank 1-1750
Rank 1-1000
Rank 1-750

This should be much more even. The rewards are up to you, but I strongly feel that these extra, middle rankings should be implemented to provide maximum fairness and minimal worry.

Yeah, +1! I am definitely loving a lot of the positive changes they’ve made lately! Keep up the good work so far devs.

Also, #11. New Brawl Matchmaking. It’s working out excellently for my ranking stability, the lack of stress and strain on my schedule, and the lack of worry of ending up in the wrong place or missing out on energy due to real-life taking over.

I really like the new MM changes! For once devs got something done right! I haven’t been moving ridiculously from dumping and my schedule has a LOT more free time and less worry and stress over a game! On top of that, but ever since End of Day 2, my Rank movement has been quite stable – hovering around Rank 2k!

Andor9, do you happen to have any plans in the future to allow GPU Acceleration for this program? That would significantly reduce the time it would take to successfully run a simulation or series of simulations using Batch Files. Or, perhaps, do you know anybody that has the programming knowledge to implement this?

Topic: Tyrant Unleashed: General / [To Devs] Small Fix - Not Allowed to Remove All Cards from Active Decks

So, before, we didn’t have an Active and a Defense deck, but now we do. So, for those with an Active and a Defense deck available, I highly recommend that you allow us a small fix, which is to remove ALL cards from our Active Deck, while our Defense Deck is active. This will allow for a much easier process when we have to swap our cards out for the Daily Achievements, The Event Missions, The Raids, The Guild War, etc.

Like I said, it’s a small fix, but it can go a long way towards leisure and convenience.

It sounds too complicated!

Because then they’d have to make a timer for when the next series of quests going to be released (which seems to be 1 hour or so after the prior quests have completed or failed). Then, they have to find a way to monetize with War Bonds for it to be revealed. Then, they have to account for any time that the server is down for and apologize to the players for the timer being incorrect. Then, if the server is down, they have to manually go in and take 3 whole minutes to fix the timer, and they probably have to pay someone to do it.

It just doesn’t sound feasible to me!

Hey Andor, just making a suggestion here, but is there anyway you can code in the ability to run fund using a Nexus Core!?

Like, either keep Fund the way it is, but use “NC1” as Nexus Core (1) being funded and run it vs. commanders, or create a whole new fund specifically for Nexus Cores.

If not, we can still do it manually, but with there being like 30+ Commanders, nowadays, a fund option would be more interesting.

I believe that the command line got changed. Deiro changed it to “DefDeck250k” and whatnot, but I changed mine back.

Paste this under the 250k DD:

DD250k: /^DefDecks250k\d\d$/
DDD: /^(DefDecks200k|DefDecks250k)\d\d$/

And this under 200k DD:

DD200k: /^DefDecks200k\d\d$/

That’s a very good question. I kind of hope it’s 118. 106 does not match as a qualification at all, 118 is better.

By completion do you mean 10/10 cause lets be honest its hard to 10/10 without OL >_>

By completion, I mean the exact same criteria for what was required to even view the other prior conquests (which was beating Mission 106 at least once). So, no, I don’t mean 10/10, unless the devs want to change it to 10/10… But that’s what I’m asking.
