Challenges

On Duo and Group, I get it. Having to complete all the prior bosses allows each individual their own progress, and actually has to allow for teamwork. However, Solo has absolutely, 100% no logical reasoning for why we should have to re-beat and re-complete the bosses that we’ve already beaten. So, my suggestion is to implement a “Skip Feature” to allow Solo Challenges to be redone in an attempt to beat that boss which could not be beaten, but skipping every other boss before-hand! Because, let’s be honest, it’s pointless to have to fight the prior bosses – no exp, no gold, no Challenge Points, nothing is gained, at all. It’s just time wasted. It’s not even Idle Time wasted, because if it was, then I wouldn’t care about skipping them.

Small Suggestion

If you guys could have a Max Skill button for Ascension Points, that would be excellent. I grow tired of running into the error: “Uh-oh! You’ve already reached the max limit for this skill!”

My point is 9 or 10 days is like a blink of an eye in the world of creative development. Especially if you don’t have a million dollar team to disperse the work.

Yeah, I gotcha, but there are ways around that, such as, using a template for the code or just continuing off of another project. I’m not saying it’s going to be easy or fast, but I do believe that it would be worth it once they get it down completely.

Well, what if they do it in a closed-loop cycle? Basically, you do 3 bug fixes, you pass it onto the team/area for testing, then you close that patch as a stable release with the intention of releasing it on the same day of the week. After that is done, you can move onto another patch, so and so forth, repeating the process and reducing stress for the dev team, while increasing consistency of releases.

The security issues was NOT with the game, it was with the DDOS of their new servers – apparently, the servers don’t have DDOS protection.

It just that I keep reporting tons of items per day, and I keep getting the response back: “We’ve already fixed this in the new patch, but thanks for reporting it!”

With your new support system, releasing consistent patches would reduce the number of repeat messages that keep getting reported for the same bugs/glitches that have already been fixed.

Also, just to be clear, I’m not complaining, I’m trying to improve your process, is all. I like the game and like to help out where I can.

So, it’s been 9 days, almost 10 since the last patch was released. I’d say we’re overdue for a patch, and I’d really like it if you released patches on a continuous, weekly basis. That way it would be consistent, expected, and anticipated.

since it tied with guild progression, i dont think they will change the stone income in anytime soon, maybe crystal upgrade is doable

I wasn’t proposing a marketplace available to all players – only an in-game conversion, directly game-to-player, not player-to-player. Considering that, on some level, you can already do this with ascension points, I see no problem with it.

Scheduled Maintenance/Patch Releases

I think you guys should make a constant, consistent scheduled release of Patches and Scheduled Maintenance. So, for example, you could do a Weekly Patch Release on Friday, at 7:00 PM EST. Then, you could also do a Monthly Maintenance for Server Maintenance, which would shut down the game, on August 17th, 1:00 AM EST.

It would really help to give players an idea for when they’re to expect new content and fixes to be done. While also giving your developer(s) proper time to manage their schedule.

Mining Upgrades

  • Pick Upgrade: Change the pick metal type (stone, bronze, tin, iron, copper, steel, titanium, etc.) as a means of a more effective digging technique and destroying each block much faster.
    Requirements: Must complete a set of Zones and must finish that last zone. Also, must pay up an excess amount of Stone, relative to the tier in question.
    Scale: +1 Damage Done per Tier of Pick Upgrade.
  • Crystal Connection: Increase the amount of crystals acquired after a zone completion.
    Requirements: Must complete a set of Zones and must finish that last zone. Also, must pay up an excess amount of Stone, relative to the tier in question.
    Scale: +1 Crystal per zone completion, per upgrade.
  • Conversion: The ability to convert Stone for Wood, at the marketplace.
    Requirements: Must reach a specific zone level.
    Scale: No scale, simply allow the ability to do so.

Woodcutting Upgrades

  • Conversion: The ability to convert Wood for Stone, at the marketplace.
    Requirements: Must reach a specific tree level.
    Scale: No scale, simply allow the ability to do so.

  1. What are the new type of resource that we can acquire called? My guild claims that they are called: “Crowns”, but I see no evidence of any claim by a Dev.
  2. What rewards are we expecting for Levels 21-25??
  3. Will we still take losses, while offline, and being attacked?
  4. What’s the point of gaining BR past 100k, if you gain nothing else from it?

  1. Daily Chest keeps resetting at 3 for me, despite the fact that I login twice a day, every single day, for 9 days straight now. So, if you counted right, it has reset on me 3 times in a ROW!
  2. Hourly Chest, after the final chest for the day has been given, will re-appear as “Claim!” after completing a Challenge successfully – even so much as Rats! Duo Bronze will trigger it at times.

OK. So, the DPS Meter works good at 5 minutes tracking, but currently there’s some difficulties presented with Challenges.

  1. You only display someone’s level when they join or post a group. You also only have that as a restriction for joining. However, someone’s level has NOTHING to do with their DPS or Base Damage – both, of which, are what really affects the outcome of the game.
  2. Even though people display their Active Clicking DPS, there’s no way to know whether that was given at 5 seconds or 5 minutes, as we cannot tell whether someone is lying or not. So, maybe, there could be an in-game tracker of sorts that reports this to the Group Joining of Challenges and always have it track at 5 minutes, in the background.
  3. On top of DPS, I think that Base Damage should be reported and provided as a public display number when Group Joining of Challenges. It’s the one number that never changes no matter what.

Challenges is quite competitive and highly sought after. Improving this system would dramatically improve the enjoyment of the game.

Topic: Tyrant Unleashed: General / 3 days in, and the 9 day guild war is already complete

What you’re not thinking about the refinement process. You’ve got 3 days worth of fights, 1-2 of those days were taken out for balancing purposes, then you’ve got people who WORK WEEKENDS and people who WORK WEEKDAYS. Then, you’ve got people who go on vacations and this will help determine their participation during those vacation trips (WiFi is available everywhere in the US, some locations in Jamaica, etc.).

The first 3 days is a very, very rough start of the war. Keyword: Start. Consider the entire first 3 days as just the balancing act – you have to find where your guild sits best. Then, you have to find out how your guild sits in that balanced section. So, now is the refinement phase, because now you’ve found your 50 or so ranks of guilds that equally match you in decks and somewhat in activity. So, now the question is, where do you, really, rank among those 50 guilds? Are you Top, bringing your guild to Rank 100, or are you Bottom, bringing your guild to Rank 150!? That is the question.

I have a series of bugs to report for the Guild War (I assume this is version 0.1 or something?), but I can’t submit ANY screenshots because imgur’s upload feature is completely down.

  1. If you click the “!” button to view the guild stats, there’s a button for “Battle” – even with 10 turns, if you click it, nothing happens.
  2. After having 0 turns, it allows you to click the “Go Again” button, takes you to the battle screen, then says you have no turns.
  3. After having 0 turns, you can still select to start a battle by selecting a fortress card to attack. But, of course, you can’t actually fight.

The planned format of this war is explained here.
The Turning Tides Battleground Effect will be active during this War. There will be no other BGE.

Guild War changes states that it’s supposed to start on Friday and end 9 days later on Sunday. July 23rd is a THURSDAY! So, which is it people!?

I can’t tell if this is a bug or you guys did this on purpose, but when the Raid started at 17:00 UTC, I had 26/30 Daily Battle Achievements completed. Since then, I have completed another 2 more, and am still at 26/30. It appears that it is moving no where and as far as I know, it won’t move anywhere until the Raid is finished!

Is anybody else experiencing this!?

Except, he said that the Assault had Mortar on it, which is what I am seeing, but since I have no cards with Payback, I can’t answer the question for him. I’d assume that in a direct one-on-one, if the card is an Assault Card struck by Strike, then it will return said Strike to said Assault card. But that’s just me guessing.
