Improving Raid Catcher
while some players might benefit from sol’s ideas, those would IMHO likely leave after badges anyway. a flood of Horgs isn’t entirely what the game needs ;)
for the entire issue of new and low-level players tagging raids, one simple mechanic would suffice: a filter by FS / OS value or by first loot tier value.

на 25-26к силы легиона потянет, может и выше. стоит 10плането-монеток, для легиона это ИМХО недорого.

in Z3.3 on H difficulty, the boss Gravlock is locked for me in spite of having all items and having completed all subquests of the area.
Z10.2, Z10.3 and Z10.4 are locked on H difficulty in spite of having completed Z10 on N difficulty already

LotS Guide for DotD Players
general notes:
ship = legion; officers = generals; crew = troops. the same attack to defence deal as in DotD: 1 att is worth 4 def.
PvP: Galaxy Dome “GD” = colosseum. same team building rules, but lesser percentages. note that GD has limited passes per day and costs 5 stamina to fight.
while the Wahsh alliance raid is very similar to Rhal, there is to my knowledge no ship (legion) with a useful bonus on it.
also on a general note LoTS ships rarely have power bonuses against specific raids, while tactics do.

+1 to all suggestions by OP and WarPorcus – the game really needs an overhaul.
I’d suggest a fleet-wide kill log for both sides, so that a) people know who to hunt and b) people know who to say thanks to for being KoS with some other fleet.

the malignant cells will clog up your field, preventing you from playing anything more powerful or more useful. a single rain of fire, a single thunderstorm (or whatever the air “1 damage to all creatures” card’s name was) or an early otyugh/scarabs will make short work of malignant cells spam. time-delaying or freezing them will also work. so this can only work in the unlikely event that your opponent has no permanent shields, no crowd control, no freezing and no devouring creatures. in that case, anything else is as likely to work.

carry: nothing, as don’t have the needed paperwork to carry any firearms or blades in europe.
although given the latest developments regarding criminality, starting the paperwork to legally carry either firearms or anything with a blade begins to sound really tempting.
<offtopic> there are already areas in Berlin and Köln where the “coppers” don’t walk and people either move out or arm themselves </offtopic>

Step-by-step walkthrough to getting the Elements badges!
worked for getting the hard badge like a charm, on the second attempt.
first one was Rainbow playing shrieker rush. a few steals and I was served :(
second one was Miracle. PU-copied a blessed Jade Dragon from him twice, then chained shields. he had 4 FFQs, spammed his own area full of fireflies and was unable to play cards off, so unable to draw more miracles. after second miracle I added 4 phase dragons and an immortal (had to have one more card, no lobotomizer, didn’t start out with this guide) and had him in 4 more turns.

Annoying Decks:How To Counter(Submit your own way,too)
I’d suggest fire shield / fire buckler to counter those vampires, adrenaline or not. thorn shield also works, but a bit slower.
graboids/shriekers: try fire shield, and/or antimatter. the antimatter / liquid shadow deck should counter any creature rush nicely.
Rain of Fire is very powerful due to AoE effect. it’s not OP, as it doesn’t hit burrowed and ethereal creatures. fire shield and thorn shield are technically the only way to get rid of those.
Miracle isn’t that OP – it’s an expensive heal.
now Hope is OP – it can not be destroyed/stolen and combined with photons / rays-of-light / fireflies / luciferase / white nymph becomes rather nasty. countered with momentum (or late-game chimera), as any shield.

Life: folk or maybe a wedding march
Death: I’d suggest some sort of funeral march
Light: choral or gregorian
Darkness: black metal
Air: classical
Earth: see above, rock
Fire: shaman hymns
Water: ambient / syringe
Entropy: I’d suggest white noise
Gravity: see above, heavy metal
Time: none(plain tempo beat)
Aether: either trance or silence (nothing changes)
other ideas:
as claimed here already:
1. re-deal button. available only on first turn, deals 6 cards instead of 7. that would at least mitigate the 0 pillars and 0 creatures starting hands.
2. new spells:
Shake the Continent: 4-5 earth quanta, forcibly unburrows all burrowed creatures.
upgrades to Shake the Planet: 6-7 earth quanta, forcibly unburrows all burrowed creatures and deals 3 damage to them
Crazyness: 4-5 entropy quanta, unburrows burrowed creatures with 50% chance
upgrades to Madness: 5-6 entropy quanta, unburrows creatures with 80-90% chance
Tolerance: 6-7 time quanta, removes poison from all creatures
upgrades to Resistance: 9-10 time quanta, removes poison from all creatures and heals them for 3-4 points
Cursed Family: 7 death quanta, poisons all identical creatures on the field, surpasses ethereal and burrowed
upgrades to Cursed Kindred: 13 death quanta, affects all creatures of the kind in play AND in deck

Earth is far too weak
earth / time is the infamous graboid-shrieker rush deck, as said above – claiming earth to be weak is a little short-sighted here. add Eternity and Reverse Time (and maybe a few Fate Eggs and Devonian Dragons for good measure) and you have a real pain to deal with.
to work with the “quake” idea, some new cards to unburrow enemy creatures would make said rush decks abd devourer spam a lot weaker.
P.S. now nerfing ether (seriously, PU, quintessence and fractal should be either removed or set at double or triple cost) is another topic entirely ;)

Good training places.
that’s leeching and only works if the people are on a run. otherwise they’d just change server, because due to the intelligent XP sharing system, every low lvl leecher costs a fair chunk of XP.
as a general suggestion, just go grind weapons – that takes helluva lots of time and levels you as well.
