I don’t believe so, personally. It is a place of the damned; a cursed place as it is.

Topic: Off-topic / Should NINTENDO drop the wii u and quit making consoles?

Because then Playstation is already ahead with their portables if that’s what they were trying to do.

I don’t understand the great difference between a Wii and Wii U, are there any distinguishable ones between the two?

Topic: Off-topic / Why do people complain about music today being trash?

I feel like a handful have that mindset to think they’re ‘cool’. I personally prefer classic rock, that’s just my preference. I don’t usually enjoy today’s music. I usually can’t connect with it as much as songs from back then from the 60’s to early 2000’s. I find there to be more effort and creativity. As well as originality.

Since I’m discussing about the purchase of a bass, and since that relates to music, it’s in relation to this forum.

I really want to learn how to play bass. I’m not sure specifically what I should get, but I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions?

Everyone needs to read the same books, consume the same amount of food, exercise the same way and rate, otherwise we’re going to have diversity among society.

The Bioshock soundtrack, mostly.

I wouldn’t necessarily reccomend a newcomer to expect to be automatically liked by everyone.

You’re not supplying your OP with factual evidence.

Topic: Serious Discussion / American Conservatism versus the world.

A very good question. Even as an American, I sadly can’t answer that. And even if I could, I don’t think it would be a significant or an acceptable answer. Of course, all cultures are different, as well as governments, laws, etc. So things will be different from one region to another.

Oh yes, their mascot may scare away much of the coulrophobics.

An interesting take on Ronald McDonald (PDF). Whilst it is very heavy on the claims and very light on the references, it does a fair job of pointing out that the idea of the clown is to market directly to children. You snare the kids and the parents follow too. You get your customers when they’re young, and you snare them for life; they grow up using you as a staple.

He’s a clever, and effective marketing tool, specifically aimed at getting as many children consuming their products as possible.

You’re absolutely right. Look at cereal commercials and the covers of their boxes. Their mascot is someone/something that looks friendly with a smile to draw children in and for their parents to follow. Marketing techniques such as these have been used for many many years.
