Really?

I’ll start with this:

Ok, I’ve been GREATLY confused by these rules.

I thought we were picking a game for the other person to play ( I challenge you to game x and you challenge me to game y.) instead, we’re each picking a game to be used as a speed run.

Do you have to pick a game for the challenge and does it have to be a speedrun?

Personally, I would be fine with playing Achievement Unlocked.

And I’d like to bring back my video journal idea from Thijsel’s gaming tournament. I’ll upload a video for every round that I play in.

Here’s my video for the qualifying round. I actually recorded my run of 53 for Man in Gap.

Um, no I haven’t used anywhere near half of my stuff. The stuff released was basic, yet still very useful.

Actually, that’s exactly what you’re trying to do. I can’t imagine that wanting to communicate with people off-site is anything other than an attempt to either get money out of them or otherwise sucker them into benefiting you. That, combined with your attempts to make the setup sound exclusive (And, making the “sample video” limited time) makes this entire setup sound really shady.

Ok, just to clarify, nobody is obligated to give me anything. I’m not asking for your money.

I have years of experience as a gaming competitor. During that time I achieved a lot of success using some of these tactics to win gaming titles. I developed a formula which is very effective and it will improve your ability (as it’s goal oriented material.)

I’m not screwing anybody here. I just don’t have a lot of time to compete anymore and I’m not that interested in winning a lot more tournaments (I’ve already accomplished everything I wanted.)

Really, this information is just sitting. Which is a shame. It could be used to benefit gamers, who actually want to get good at this stuff.

You want to win a tournament but don’t know how. I know how and am willing to show you. What’s wrong with that?

If the video quality isn’t up to par, just tell me. The content IS solid.

I’m going to release one more sample video. This one covers the basics for how you want to start off the tournament.

Be warned that the link is coming down within 48 hours. This information is too good to keep it up here forever.

Enjoy!

Thanks Daddy, forgot this. Deadline for definition of tasks: less than 15 hours from now. If you don’t post a task, you’ll automatically use Particles and lose any ties.

Why not make Particle the game for the first round?

The challenge aspect is BS IMO.

Also, please take into consideration that we all have a history with each other. I’ve been competing against most of these guys for two or three years.

We all know each others strengths and weaknesses. I’m going to face either Darkboy or Best in the second round and I already know what game I’m going to choose. Depending on who I face.

Lebossle,

These rules are too subjective. How can you possibly determine which player moves on to the next round (especially if both players in the same bracket, complete the task.)

Having a single elimination style tournament is fun (even a double.) I think you should just pick the games and leave it at that.

I will be recording more videos like this in the future. However, most of them are only going to be available for my subscriber list.

Getting on the list is easy, just send me an email JoshDragon@mail.com with the word “Add” written in the subject line.

What video?

The link got removed, but here’s a summary: “To do well, visualize yourself doing well. Pick someone you think is likely to win, and imagine doing better than them.”

Sure it’s not the most useful advice, but I’m still unclear as to why it was removed.

Actually, it’s really about having a standard. Visualizing can be useful but that’s an entirely different point. You need to hold your standard to your opponent’s level.

In other words, you refuse to quit until you’ve beaten their score.

I also believe that you need to embrace the challenges you get. If you draw the top seed in the tournament, don’t look at it as a bad thing.

You’re going to eventually face him anyway. Instead, look at this as an opportunity for you to prove yourself.

Hopefully you’ve had the chance to check out the video. If not please do so.

Now, it’s your turn. I’m curious. I want to develop a kick-ass program to help you, get the most out of your game. Tell me where you’re falling off in these tournaments and let’s see if I can make this package better.

I’ve played in around 50 or so by now. Most of them not on Kong.

The tournaments are all gaming competitions.

I absolutely love to compete against people. Especially when it comes to sports.

I’d suggest that you create a list of your favorite games and do an episode on that.

I like the idea of co-hosting, John and I have different tastes in games so between the two of us we can provide more variety. I think we just need a little more planning on who will talk about what so we don’t step on each other’s toes. I like the idea of a “favorites” episode, that could be fun.

Heather,

You’re a lot more comfortable in front of the camera. Find a co-host who likes to be in front of the camera.

Heck, I might be willing to do a co-lab at some point.

Ok, I think I got a bit ahead of myself.

Just to clarify, this is a guide, for gamers who are looking to get better results in the spreadsheet tournaments.

I’m going to release a sample video tomorrow.

Hey guys,

I have a secret project that I’m working on. TOP SECRET!

All joking aside, I’m creating an email course for those motivated to finally achieve success at the tournaments. It even has a few of my “Black book secrets” included.

This email course will blow your mind! If you’re a frustrated gamer, who has long struggled with achieving success in the spreadsheets then pay close attention. This is the thread for you!

First, I need some information. I want to create a package that provides the maximum benefit.

So now it’s your turn.

Let me know where you falter. How can you improve? Are you following a structured course for each tournament? Do you have goals, hopes, or dreams? Are you just playing for fun or do you want to win?

I’m looking forward to your response!

Sincerely,

JoshDragon
