My last name is Silfies so obviously I want it to be correct on here and not mispelled. Changing two letters around isn’t any harder than asking to capitalize a letter or lowercase.

Changing the capitalization doesn’t alter what your user name is…just how it appears. So the database doesn’t need to change in any way. Changing your name isn’t a hard thing to do. They simple won’t do it for reasons stated above.

I’m not saying you have to use IE or Chrome forever…it just helps to see if what your dealing with is a browser issue.

If not, try these steps…





Step 1: Try A Differet Browser (This will help narrow down the problem)
Download: Chrome | Firefox | Opera | Safari | Internet Explorer


Step 2: Clear Cache/Cookies

Step 3: Disable Extensions

Step 4: Check your Firewall
Make sure your firewall allows traffic on port 5222, that is the port used to connect to chat.
How to: Open a port in Windows Firewall

Step 5: Check your Antivirus Software
If your running an Antivirus make sure it is not blocking your connection.

Step 6: Check your Proxy Settings. (Firefox)
Go to the top left corner and click “Firefox” then “Options”. Go to Advanced → Network → Settings. Try switching to “No proxy”, save, and see if that helps. If not, experiment around with the different options (besides “Manual proxy configuation”) and see if that changes anything.

Step 7:
Go to the Flash settings page and enable ‘Allow third-party Flash content to store data on your computer’

Step 8: Try reinstalling your flash player.

You don’t get a refund. You simply get K+ as long as your a mod.
