As you noticed, the map has different colors on it, that is the type of the land, green is low population area, 1 citizen, light blue 2 citizen and dark blue is 3 citizen, pink are 10 citizen. Each citizen produces 1 supply each turn to the builder, these supplies are used to build defenses. When a demon touches a piece of land, it instantly becomes corrupted (dark red) and the citizen are killed off meaning that the builders get less supplies to work with. Speed of construction depends on the piece of land, and building on it consumes the citizen as “workers” for the building. Crafter is semi useless at the start, as spoils of war needs to be looted from dead demons or from buildings. Commander starts with thinking where to send his heroes, you do now know where the demons will attack so the start is a small lottery or complete strategy.

Spawner decides where to spawn starting waves of demons and the route they would take, conjurator upgrades units, devil the devil.

Well, the commander has power over 4 characters, their “classes” are Fetcher, Scout, Support and Defender, Fetcher is all about collecting Spoils of war, these are dropped by the devil spawns, Scout is a ranged unit who can scout out areas undetected or use his range to lay down damage in crucial spots, he is well used to sneak through the enemies to reach a distant defending point faster, support can buffs for your other heroes, heals and also he can boost buildings, Defender is a melee unit meant to withstand pressure, for example he can block off one staircase while your builder builds defenses elsewhere.

I did not go into statistic details.
