Thanks for all the updates the last few months. The game feels settled enough I did a hard reset, opened up my score submission, and gave you another small donation.

Suggestion. Now that Bonuses for extra GP is implemented how about making the GP icon (by the Kred icon) flash when there are unused GP, i.e. when bars are not fully used. I can’t see a downside to this, and it would be a nice reminder. I suppose you could leave an option to turn off the signal, but I think (if you implement this) default should be flash when needed.

Phyre if it’s too slow for you you can always use your God Power (GP) to max out clones immediately. This won’t necessarily even be a waste method later in the game.

Creation time is one of the slowest aspects of the game, but it does speed up as time goes gone.

Also there is no way to create all the base creations you need for the game. That is where Divinity comes into play later. That is essentially the equivalent of money to buy basic creations directly. Limited availability, but very useful.

As for people quitting the game because it’s too slow I say the reason I’m staying interested in the game is because it’s too slow. This is always something the gameDev has to manage, and I for one think the Dev is doing pretty well with this so far.

Last monument is x750 count. It’s very powerful, and very expensive and time consuming to make, but the last three monument creations WILL open up god kills and fights not available previously.

Iirc they are only active in the level they are created and have no effect past that, but they are very powerful, and very useful.

GendoIkari_82 I don’t have the time right now to answer in detail, but I will say if you use the tool tips you can see a lot of your questions are answered by those.

As for the basics of fighting god know a couple things. You want your atk to be higher than their defense, and you want your def to be higher than their attack. You can try fighting a god anytime they are available, and their is no penalty for losing to them. (except perhaps a bit of pride.) Also your actual atk is now listed at the top of your statistics page, so you don’t have to bother sorting it out anymore.

As it stands the creation system isn’t friendly, but it’s tolerable. Especially after you can buy resources outright, and you kind of have to watch the system while those are used, and it doesn’t take long.

Later in the game when the higher creations and gods open up I’m assuming the whole thing will be more complicated. Mostly you will only be able to do them after purchasing your “base” creations first as it would take impossibly long to generate these creations outright. But still a simple cap on your creation number on any tier would be a nice thing to have. This would also help for when you have monuments building, and you don’t want to halt your progress on these because you have (for example) suddenly started sucking down water to create plants, etc.

I simply hope that by latter game and higher gods we have something like a cap available, even if we don’t have a more complex creation system in place.

Another possibility is the option to use monument resources when the monument creation is started. Maybe. Or maybe not. There are arguments for either possibility, but an option might be good.

First of congratulations on the creation of the replace fighting clones function. That’s super helpful, and really contributes to the idle process.

Another helpful clone function would be with the other/elemental clones. It would be really nice if at the point you can no longer create one type of clone the function defaults back up to a clone that can be created.

Even better would be a max creation function that THEN defaults back up, so you could determine the max number of elemental clones you want to create, and when that goal is met it, or you run out of clones, it defaults back up.

This would really help the idle process. Thanks.

It appears they can’t be used till later in the game. Probably after a few rebirths.

So my question is: is there any reason whatsoever to even create them at first since you cannot use them anyways?

I think the uproar (from lockboxes to loss of direct buy premiums to the loss of the casino tag**) is essentially about breaking the ILLUSION OF CHOICE. The pretense in this industry, or any consumer industry for that matter is we have some choice in the matter of what’s provided to us.

Simply put mostly we don’t. I don’t want this to run on, but it’s far more about basic psychological manipulation, and meeting a monetary bottom lines than it’s ever been about choice. It’s always been this way, and always will be this way.

Occasionally the manipulation becomes too egregious, and people have a fit. But this is not because of the manipulation, but because their illusion of choice has be (temporarily I might add) broken.

The car company does not “care” about you, your appliance merchant is not there to make you “happy,” and your gaming corporation is not your “friend.”

It’s an adversarial relationship, it always has been, and it always will be. The dealer holds the cards, and the house always wins. You either opt in, or you opt out, but try not to pretend too much you have any “choice” in the matter other than that basic one.

**FYI this is the SECOND time Kongregate downvoted the casino tag on DotD, not the first

Doesn’t work during peak lag. I think perhaps the regular button is even faster.

Possibly the worst lag ever, especially considering the amount of time its gone on. Seriously you can barely play the game.

Multiple bugs and issues with cakes, Invasion, image loads, equips and god knows what else.

Yet another money grubbing lottery and PC “sale” to deal with, with possibly dubious gains all around. (Though admittedly the new legion is pretty good.)

Invasion is interesting, but the fact it’s another potentially HUGE pc sink, and focused mostly on the the highest spending players gaining far more far faster than anyone else makes it…well…kinda of crappy in the long run.

I’m pretty resolved to the company being one of most blatantly money grubbing game creators in existence that gives only to the players what it can get back in cash.

But seriously. This is your big event, and due to the lag it’s killing any possible fun most of us could have with it. And obviously this Uber-lag goes way beyond the number of players on the site. It’s obviously some major programming issues stemming from the new content.

Can’t you at least fix this? I’ve learned to take the bad with the good, but right now it’s ALL BAD!

Please help. Thanks.

I not only didn’t have points added, I lost about 300 perception as well after the loot. Makes me wonder how often I’ve lost stats due to bugs and not noticed?

269 NM Baroness hit, 11 hoods, no chest piece. And I know that while some have chest pieces, this is not an isolated occurrence. Please address this. Thanks.

I almost put this in bugs as it has a buggy “feel” to it.

Originally there was a fix in PvP where you lost less from hitting and losing to higher ranked players, and more from hitting and losing to lower level players. But now with the “fix” to the PvP power multipliers, hitting lower level raids is getting useless. You lose more (because of random losses) than you could ever gain.

I think the fix needs fixing. Either eliminate the multiplier or reduce the loss when hitting lower level raids, or find some other balance, because as it stands it’s ridiculous.

Frankly my preference has always been to eliminate or extremely reduce loss points altogether. If you are only into the rewards, and could care less about the boards (like myself) I don’t see why that shouldn’t be the case.

So that’s my final suggestion. Eliminate PvP loss points altogether for those that opt permanently out of the boards.

Main change I’d like is either gain more for a win or more important lose less for a loss. (Loss attacking AND loss defending). The only thing I really want from PvP is the essences, and to a lesser degree the items. I could basically care less about the boards, so maybe this could be implemented (at least) for those that do a board opt out.
