Yes, but I hope that more is coming than just all tiles being reset. It will just turn into the same thing quickly enough but maybe us lower factions can hold a tile for a little bit and actually get some tokens.

Topic: Tyrant / [Dev] Conquest Changes proposal

Love the tile limit and value idea, this will help free up the outer tiles for lower level fractions who just want a few tokens here and there. I think the biggest problem is the current number of available tiles to even start a conquest. Currently we can only attack the outer ring and I tried making a post about this but I truly believe that you should bring back the range idea again. Currently there are 2 open tiles on the map but only two factions can actually invade them because they are not on the outer ring.

I also think part of the problem will be “catching up”, factions that have been getting 8 tokens every 23 hours will most definitely have full upgrades at this point and we (a faction with no tiles/tokens) still face the issue of fighting 30 decks at 130 hp doing only 10 damage a win. If you multiply out the amount of stamina you would actually need to win it is crazy. Sadly you can not do anything about this that will make everyone happy, but fixing it now at least closes the gap.

I want to end with two suggestions:
1) Extend the range of the first tile your faction can start a conquest on
2) Maybe reduce the number of defense decks allowed per tile? (This idea just came to me now and I have not given it much balance thought)

For example, there are 3 open tiles on the board right now that are at a range of 2 and 3 away from the edge, but no one gets to try to take them except 2 factions !!!

If you wanted to make a serious topic, perhaps you should have played the game before posting.

Because my lack of forum posts determines how long or “well” i play this game? Go look me up on the fansite if you even know what that is. Level 4 kong acount with NINE badges … yea you know a LOT about playing games on this site… Nice try troll , play again with someone else

An interesting idea would be to leave invasions on edge/bordering tiles as it currently is. Then add what you suggested with level restrictions like those in faction wars. E.g. If I want to declare on Dragon’s center tile and my faction currently has 0 tiles, my faction has to be within x-levels of Dragons in order to declare. Alts can’t help then (unless they’re high level bot/alt/dead factions etc.).

I like the idea, thanks for the serious post, I agree this would give reach past the border but also keep people safe from alt faction abuse.

I feel like if they cant defend their territories from Alt Factions then they should not have them to start with… if you have 30 tiles it needs to have some risk that comes along with it!!! who are you actually defending them from? other factions with 30 tiles. They need to be put under pressure from the rest of us!

Also I would be fine with the range of 5 like it was at the very beginning, Any tile was just an idea but even a range of More than the edge would make this whole conquest thing a little more enjoyable.

alt factions would be a problem for a little while but since the rank and name of each faction is public on each area it would not be hard to figure out which squares would be weak to take over. The attack any tile would definitely only be for a zero tile faction. Top factions took over territories in shapes that they would not have to defend their inner tiles, this makes it so you must defend each tile with a few decks. Also this balances out the lack of upgrades for factions that have never gotten conquest tokens because the number of decks will be thinned out on each tile so needing 13 wins per deck will actually be able to be done. 130 hp on 30 def decks is not very doable for casual players/factions.

Please bring back the mechanic where we could invade any tile within a range from the border. Or may I suggest the ability to invade ANY tile for a faction’s first tile. This makes it so that any faction with multiple tiles truly does need to defend all of their tiles, not just ones bordered by other factions (that they are probably allied with). I think this would be an easy way to make it so that more factions have a chance at grabbing a square, even if they lose it right away we at least have the chance. I would love to hear comments or feedback.

I like the idea of a currency that can do it all but that also comes with its own set of problems. If everything you do gives these credits then it stunts the activities that you are going to do. It also makes it absolutely pointless to have both energy and stamina in my opinion. People will just find the one thing that give the most credit and only do that. The nice thing about the current system is that different currency promotes different types of activity. I can gain reputation, loyalty, components, tokens, gold, and warbonds all by doing different things. I like the idea that conquest tokens can earn free WB packs but I also think that this is unfair for game balance since only top crews can get and hold a territory and I can only imagine how many free tokens they get every day, uncontested, while the lower level players get nothing (sorry I know this is off topic). I support multiple ways to earn rewards like cards or packs but I dont think that getting rid of “gold” to call it something else fixes or really changes anything.

Proposed solution: Change conquest tokens into these “credits” and make more ways to get them. This would level the playing field for all level characters and factions and make it so we can still get the rewards we want (Free Packs and nice uniques) and not have to be in a top fraction to get them. As it is, conquest tokens only help the strong and if you have them now you have a basically endless supply of free stuff that no one can contest (try attacking a fully upgraded faction this late in the game …)
