I consider going to Morfeld, but no, I can’t. Far to dangerous. That area is already going to be covered in infected. By the time I get there, it will but much worse. I’ll be lucky if I don’t get killed on the way there. I feel bad passing up on this opportunity, but it just isn’t worth the risk. I decide to loot one more house and head out of town. So far I’ve been lucky not to run into eny enemies, lets just hope that luck continues.

Now that the tax collectors have been delt with, I make my way to the forests to hunt. The hides and meats that can be gathered could prove very useful. If we don’t use them we can always sell them for something more useful anyways.

I finally manage to find my way back to my house. It took a bit longer than it should have, but I’m home. Today way not optimal to say the least, but I’m home, I’m alone, and at least sort of not really safe. It would have been much worse. Could have been better, but it could have been worse. I walk to the bedroom and take a seat on my bed. It would be really nice if this was all just a dream. But no, of course not. I’ll just have to live with this. Worse, I don’t even have my notebook. Lost it in the damned explosion that caused all of this. I wasn’t exactly making any progress but it kept me occupied. Oh well, nothing can be done about it. Can’t exactly go buy a new notebook anymore.

I take a seat to rest in the house, eating two of my apples just to stay full. Things are going pretty good right now. My injuries are minor and I’m not really tired. I just want to be completely full and ready before scavenging some more. Seems like that’s all I’m going to do, scavenge. Always more and better stuff to find that will help me not die horribly.

This is a open CYOP game. It takes place 200 years before the events of the Chronicles of Indon game. When you craete your character, I will decide your previous life. While I will base it partially on your description and race, I will do a lot of the deciding myself. That previous life will decide what skills you have now.

You, are dead. Not exactly the best start for a tale, but a start nonetheless. How long were you dead? Who knows? Could have been a decade, could have been a millenia. A few years ago, you were brought back from the dead by a necromancer. You mindlessly served him for those few years, no objections. Now, though, everything is different. You just watched as some ‘hero’ killed the necromancer who brought you back from the dead. Normally you would have just died again, but that didn’t happen. As he died you felt a rush of emotions as your consciousness and free will returned. It felt as though you were experiencing every possible emotion at once, before blacking out. Now, you have awoken. For the first time in many years you can think for yourself, make your own decisions, live you’re own life. Unfortunately, you can barely remember your life under the necromancer, let alone your past life. Still, you are alive, and now it’s your choice what to do with this new opportunity.

I put my revolver away, impressed by the shot I made. And then the last one stabbed me in the leg. It was painful as hell, to say the least. I punch him(Newbie Tax Collector #2) in the face one last time. Something tells me he isn’t going to survive much longer. Might be the four people that are about to beat the crap out him. Yea, it’s probably that.

Well, first of all I don’t know if the game will last. I don’t want to take the time to learn how to play some really complicated game if it might not even make it past the first week. There are also a lot of people who just don’t want to learn complicated rules for a game, don’t feel like it, or don’t have enough time, which contributes to the idea of the game not lasting long. All in all, it just isn’t a worthwhile investment of my time.
