My mom used to love Kongregate until every game she started playing started showing a grey box only and won’t load…We had updated her…Java/Shockwave/Flash Player and we can’t seem to get any games to load…

I myself go to a private school. It is a privilage. On some ideas…Does your school have something like maybe where you have to type papers and what not…Offer to type peoples papers and assure them everything will be right as in “Punctuation”...

What about after school things…My old school had something where you could stay after school and work “Mow, trim, decorate etc…” and you got paid for it…I have never done any of them I have been very lucky.

I have very little if this is considered programming…I did some C# language work awhile back, but it would take me a little time to re-learn that…If Actionscript is what people use to make games work and upload them on websites, I’ll stick with that.

I am going to learn and give this game making a shot. I currently have alot of free time this summer…(Part time job, friends are out of state, ETC) So I want to make a game.

I did alot of reading in the [FAQ GAME MAKING] Thread and need some help.

I am currently doing one of the tutorials that involves making an image for a game. http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flashcs3/flash_…

And as I was waiting for my flash to download I started reading more of the tutorials listed…Alot of it seems to be based around AS3…

Now In the FAQ game making thread it suggested using AS1 to learn. If I use AS1 am I still able to upload games with that? (I don’t expect to get a game done anytime soon) Would it be better suffering through skipping AS1 and AS2 and go straight to AS3 and learn?

Also I believe I saw 2 of the tutorials were made in 1999 and seem a little…well…outdated?

Is there anything else that might help me learn alot faster (I don’t expect this) or something that might have been updated that isn’t in the FAQ?
