Ok, so initial thoughts.

Gamma and Revolver are definitely more reasonable now, but I haven’t played long enough with or against them to form a complete opinion yet.
Unfortunately the Spyder III is still WAY overpowered.
Regular sticky is still half power of freeze sticky, not sure why that change was even made.

Devs:
Can we get a list of what weapons were tweaked?
Do the actual stats of weapons match the stats listed in the store? They did not match before, especially revolver.
Can accuracy be added to the stats listing in the store? I think that would be very important to know before buying.
Does anyone else agree that a numerical value for stats would be much more helpful than the current graphical representation?

Learned a new one today, not sure if it is meant to be like this or its a glitch in the mechanics of the dash. If you hit jump and dash at the SAME time you don’t roll but you accelerate a jump into the air.

My opinion would to either block this or just allow dash to be used in the air anyway.

I don’t mind the change to a match based system, but allow me to atleast buy a few matches worth. If you wanted to use boosters, the way it is now after EVERY game, you would have to:
-Leave the match, possibly losing your spot or the game disappearing if everyone left.
-Go to store
-Buy Defense booster
-Buy Movement booster
-Buy Offense booster
-Go to collection
-Equip Defense booster
-Equip Movement booster
-Equip Offense booster
-Find previous match and join.

If this is a ploy to get people to use less boosters, I have a prediction it will work!

Suggestions:
-Allow Multi Match ticket purchase
-Move the booster equip to the weapon select screen. This allows us to remove or add them depending on the skills of the players in the match.
-Allow booster purchase on weapon select screen. This allows us to defend our team if a highly skilled player enters with boosters, without having to leave the game. When we are forced to leave to Purchase/Equip the rest of the team is more likely to “Rage quit”
-Thanks for the addition of in game booster UI, but its implementation could be better. As it is now if there are 2 players on the same team with the same toy its hard to tell who is running the booster. It would be much more helpful if it was on the leader board instead of the player icon.
-Speaking of the weapon select screen. It would also be great if we could select toys on the same screen. It looks like there are arrows to do this already on the screen, but they do nothing.

How can you make a distinction of what is keeping the players when more than one variable is changed? If I am recalling it correctly, armor games was added at about the same time the speed was changed, this as YoBaby said could have a huge impact. Also note that during the lul on Kong that there was no way for noobs to join a lvl restricted game which could lead to the “Rage quits”. other reasons could be the fact that the game has lots of bugs, and had even more during that lul on kong.

Don’t get me wrong the game is great, but the slow speed, as well as lack of accuracy is a bad addition to the game.

How long did the game take to die out on Kong, could the retention of the players on armor be just because its new to them. They never experienced the game with the fast speed and great accuracy. I think the reaction on kong is a result of us having more fun with the game its previous state. And I wish you would bring the game back to what it was before, I don’t mind the HP as much as the Accuracy and Speed. The speed just makes it feel so sluggish and boring, and the accuracy removes a lot of the skill required and turns it into a boring spray and pray luckfest.

Thanks americanmcgee, for finally explaining this to us. Maybe if your post was made 2 weeks ago we could have avoided some of the hatred that came out on this forum.

I’m getting sick of complaining with no action on the part of the devs. My rating is going to a 1/5. I just don’t get why the are adding things like new skins when the mechanics of the game are still in what feels like an alpha stage. There are so many bugs that should be worked out FIRST, no I’m not gonna sit here and list them all. Most have already been discussed with no resolve.
It started with the AWFUL addition or aim and accuracy, and the nail in the coffin is this Snail speed. You updated the game today but didn’t remove it after the unanimous hatred? Its like spitting in our faces…

PLEASE STOP MAKING THIS GAME WORSE!!

I feel like this game has been going downhill ever since the Aim update.

-The Slow speed is AWFUL! It makes me want to quit. I play the game to run around a shoot people, not to pretend I’m in an old age home.
-The Chat is now broken.
-Dash is USELESS! Maybe it would be OK if it was allowed in the air, but having to stay on the ground to use it makes it pointless.
-Why did you remove the ability to switch teams without going back to the lobby?! Now if teams are uneven you cant fix it without losing your game stats. This makes it less likely to have even teams!
-I Don’t mind the extra health, but if its kept please make it so that players can be hit and not have my bullets spray around them (Is it clear I hate the Aim system?)
-Not sure if its related to the updates or just lag but starting about 2 updates ago I’ve been seeing issues with opponents taking no damage. Example: I shoot an opponent with the sniper, the bullet trail hits the enemy and stops as if I hit him, but he takes no damage. Ive also seen this with the SMG etc… (and no they aren’t bashing) anyone else see this?
-I much prefer a list of games instead of the new Icons, I don’t need to see Images and symbols for maps and modes. Just a list that I could maybe sort by map/mode/players. And also shows the lvls allowed without me having to get an error when trying to enter. And it would be great if we could see the players names of who is in the game without going in.

Haven’t seen this one mentioned yet. In a flag games that are set to a goal of 150 the counter stops at 100 and does not advance any further, the game only ends when the time limit is reached (from what I’ve seen)

I’m getting a lot of failed to connect errors. Seems that once it happens once I cannot connect to any game unless I refresh.

Also I am getting a failed to connect to lobby “Reason:Egs_UserStateError”. The error comes up if I double click to join, but if I select a game and hit join I get “Hint Select a game first”.

I got the White team bug this morning too, but wasn’t able to grab a log before I closed the game.

And finally, I got kicked from my first game today, YAY! :’(
How many people have to agree to kick a player?

I completely agree with bloodstar on this one, please just remove the accuracy system. The game play was much better before!

I should probably post this in the bug section, but is anyone also having issues with the capture point flags not working. Sometimes one of the flags stops working for me, I stand there and nothing happens.

I completely agree the addition of the accuracy stat completely ruins the game for me. And drives it towards the pay to play model. The great thing about this game USED to be that the Default SMG/Shotgun USED to be a great combo, and even a starting player had a good chance to get some kills on much higher players if they had skill in their aim and could get some critical hits. Now its turned into a lame “Spray and Pray”.

oops, forgot one other thing. On the chat censoring, I understand it’s necessary. But instead of just censoring to ????, can it switch the naughty words to something else so that we get what someone is trying to say. So it cleans it up and makes it funny depending on what the words are switched to.

Just a thought…

I’ve only played a game or 2 since the update but my initial impression is the Ammo management is a bad idea. It makes the game less fun and too complicated.

Custom Key Configuration!! Yes! been waiting for this one, although I tried to change reload to ‘e’ and it didn’t work. And changing the chat to ‘t’ causes bad things to happen…
