Back to the subject then…

Personally, I think the concept of rows wouldn’t really add much to MARDEK, in terms of strategy. Besides which, adding 2 extra monsters to your typical mob encounter wouldn’t affect the outcome of the battle too much, and boss battles, the important battles, are generally populated by fewer enemies.

This means that mobs would neither gain nor lose any difficulty. Bosses would become laughably easy, since they’d be more outnumbered, giving you an extra advantage.

Adding 2 extra party members would also require a rewrite of the game engine, and might become laggy and glitchy anyway, what with even more information to take into account during battles.

So, to sum it all up, I don’t particularly think this as a good idea.
