Can someone please explain how order of action is determined?

I am a knight that was able to use Intercept at skill lvl 1, and go almost first.

At skill lvl 2, I sometimes go last. WTF??

How is order of taking actions determined in PVP????

Buff Knights so they can compete with Archers and Mages of the same level, I have never seen such an unbalanced class system in any game I have ever played. It’s to the point that it should tell you to “not” pick knight if you want to enjoy the game. They tank a tad better than archers, and a little better than mages… which doesnt matter because a mage or archer has wiped out a knight’s troops and done considerable dmg to the knight with AoE skills and massive criticals.

Mages have healing powers, and both archers and mages are better in World Boss and Battle Ground because of the above mentioned.

Any PvP is a joke when it comes to knights, they are easily outclassed by mages and archers with much lower BR.

Knight’s skills are a joke compared to mages and archers.

What exactly do Knights get? What exactly do they excel at? What are the advantages to being a knight??? – None really, unless you cash hard, and are lvl 60 probably.

Fix this please…

Do DEVs ever read the forum posts???

If not, this is a worthless thread filled with REALLY good information.

If they don’t read the forums, I think that is the #1 way to show that all the DEVs care about is money. I have found this to be true in every case of every good online game (with longevity) I have ever played… with no exceptions.

Again the main problem is that Archers and Mages tank too well compared to Knights.

tanking is supposed to be the knight’s job, but archers tank almost as well. Mages arent that bad at it either…

On the other side, a knight has no where near the damage output as mages and archers.

The main problem summed up right there.

This ALL comes down to tanking.

Knights are supposed to be tanks correct? Mages pure damage? Archers somewhere in between w/ critical hits?

Would you say this is a fair generalization?

In terms of what each class does best, and is supposed to be geared for…

Compared to Archers and Mages, Knights a 100% the worst at what they are supposed to be. Tanks

I think that’s what the Op was saying… Knights being the worst class is a matter of opinion, but they are certainly the worst at what they are supposed to do.

Again this all comes down to tanking. If we assign a number based on what each class should be able to tank like, with 100 being max…

then it should break down something like this: Knights 90, Mages 30, Archers 50

Instead it breaks down like this: Knights 90, Mages 60, and Archers 75 <- this is a problem

Is there some sort of feature/item that lets players sometimes take 2 turns before you take 1? Something that affects speed?

Sometimes I’ll get hit by a player, and before I can get my turn… they hit me again.

What the crap?

PVP wizard is like using a naked un-armed character basically.

Gotta do something to help balance is a bit… Everyone knows that’s where all the xp comes from PVP.

Waits for all the posts where people claim they are awesome in PVP with wizard character

^If you do this, better back it up with some evidence…. Cause as of now, wizard class is total trash.

TERRIBLE IDEA!!!

LOTS ANDS LOTS of people that have invested TONS of time and WBs into making their faction better will get screwed big time.

tbh, I don’t know how this would make the game any better, solve any real problems, or make the game more fun in any way.

That being said, if it isn’t broke… don’t fix it.

again… TERRIBLE IDEA!!!

Topic: Tyrant / TYRANT: A Game of Structures

Seems like at some point the meta game shrunk drastically into a structure-based motif.

Every decent player now has a deck build of at least 7/10 structures, if not more.

Would be great to see new anti-wall cards, or a new anti-wall power called “Rot” (or something like that) that can be applied to walls, like poison is applied to assault units.

For Joltrek’s nutsack! I forgot to put [TO DEVS] in the title. Now they will never read my post!

Topic: Tyrant / [Dev] Conquest cooldown fix

Easiest way to fix this whole debacle….

Set a 24hr hold on Conquesting any tile past the 6th tile. (Or one past the furthest tile # on the map that has been acquired)

Once the 24hr timer runs out, factions can then attack the 7th (or next) tile.

Problem solved. Fairness resumes. Conquesters happy.

I donno why but i only see you guys whine about the conquest system. If that’s so fking wrong why not completly remove surging and add fight? it should make it noob friendly for everybody, not just high level faction… or why not just completely remove it?

we dont want it removed cos its a good idea. Its just badly implemented currently and needs fixing.

there is nothing that need fixing, surge is good and gives defense a good shot at defense, but then again low level factions can barely surge against old guys without a decent card pool, 31 tiles/8 tokens cap is pretty good, but if removed it could result in more aggressive tactics which can abused by wb heavy players, level limited tiles is indeed a bad idea and need to be removed and as for a greater map… not sure how to be implemented at the moment without making the map even laggier.

As you can see the only thing that needs fixing is removing the max lvl tiles which can be exploited by pro players in low lvl factions.

what actually other players complain is that they entered conquest too late and now they don’t have a shot at it cause alliances have been forged and there is no more place for them. As it was stated there were and are rewards for those participating in conquest (even though it’s still ‘beta’) i see only one thing that needs fixing, everything else was fixed in due time.

You couldn’t be more wrong. There are ways to exploit and cheat the current conquest system, that has NOTHING to do with how late a faction is to the game. Take a look at the other various threads detailing – alt. faction blocking, alt. faction scouting, tile trading for MASS FP gain, etc…

Main problem with scouting by alt factions is they just run the def. decks in simulation and then without doing any work have a HUGE advantage in a conquest.

Topic: Tyrant / [IDEA] Name Change

Pretty much self-explanitory.

Wondering if it is possible for Tyrant War Metal to add a feature that would allow players to change their name.

A lot of players play from Kongregate, and it would be cool if we were able to choose a name for Tyrant, that isn’t the same as our Kongregate name.

I would imagine it could cost 1 WB for the first, change and then escalate from there so it doesn’t get out of hand. Maybe 1,2,5,10,20,30…and so on.

Could generate some WBs for the devs, and I can think of a few other reasons this would be advantageous to players in a PvP game like this.

I think its good as it is. I would love to see more Awak shards, but I think its balanced just fine.

You get free shard packs from the newest pack released, not the newest plus the 2nd newest. Don’t know why people are complaining.

Be happy you get anything free…
