I think you should add a way to see the damage per second and damage per shot for items. It’s simple math that I can do myself, but it’s a real pain having to do it every turn when I get a ton of items and need to compare. It wouldn’t need to look at my personal skills that might affect item dps like conviction or blessed weapon, just on the item itself like crit, multi-shot, and flurry.

Also the reason I asked for damage per shot as well as dps is because for reaper build the only thing thing matters is the first shots at beginning of stage. So if you’re only going to add only 1, I’d prefer damage per shot because it wouldn’t take much to just divide it by the fire rate to get dps.

I think I’d also prefer you not worry about chance and either round up or down for flurry to the nearest 100x and assume crit will activate. I can look at the % myself and guess the likelihood.

Topic: Tyrant Unleashed: General / [TO DEVS] Sub-factions

I was thinking that something that would help this game a lot is if you used small groups of cards that had skills that would only affect each other. For example

a xeno card could have sub-faction of pirate. It could have a skill that only affects other ‘pirate’ cards. However it’s still xeno so it would be affected by those effects as well.

The benefit of this is that it would allow you to release a set of cards which are made to work with each other and combo in some way without having to worry too much about how they would work with the rest of the cards in the game. You could give certain skills some real OP stats but not worry about it being ‘broken’ or too OP because it would only work with the other cards of the ‘set’.

I think this could help immensly with the powercreep problem because you could release new ‘sets’ that have different strengths and weaknesses however balance out to the same ‘level’. This could lead to a paper/rock/scissor scenario where different sets aren’t simply stronger but just better to use depending on who your facing cause of the complimentary strengths and weakness.

It would be good to have something to do during downtime. If you listen to the suggestions you’ll see that they are for legacy or retro type events that would have rewards that are basically only going to be SP so you won’t feel a need to participate if you don’t want. It would be totally optional without any fear you would miss out on a card that you might need.

I think it might even be fun for them just to have a legacy brawl mid week that has no reward or just SP/gold and is just there so we can compete for fun and see how we rank.

You can’t compare this game with MtG. The simple fact that one is actual cards and the other is on PC puts the 2 in completely different genres. Don’t forget that any new skill they come up with will require a good amount of code to add. Although also quite different I think that a far better comparison and one that they can pull ideas from is Hearthstone. The way they do it is by technically making all packs purchasable for free, however you would never be able to get all the cards in a pack with the amount of gold you can earn ftp. The power creep doesn’t happen by creating skills that work different so that people can just try different combos out.

I think that one thing that would help TU a lot is by using ‘micro-factions’. This would allow them to create a set of cards that are all ‘Xeno-rebels’. They could have effects that would only effect other ‘Xeno-rebel’ cards but not other Xeno. However ‘Xeno-rebels’ would still be xeno so they would still recieve effects from other xeno cards. This would allow the devs to make cards with effects and not have to think too much about how they would interact with the current meta because they are meant to be played as a set.

The 19/20 bug happens because you disconnected at the very start of a duel before it finished loading. If after clicking the ‘ok’ button that pops up, you start a new duel, you never played the one that didn’t finish loading and therefore don’t get credit for it. When you see the ‘OK’ button pop up what you need to do is refresh the page and it should load up the duel that had disconnected.

I only had one Rare and when i clicked the salvage all Rares button it asked if I wanted to salvage them all for 25 SP. It seems to just be a visual bug as when i told it to do it I only received the correct amount of SP and got 5 SP.

Do I get WBs for reporting this?

The current raid gave me an idea for a new game mechanic that I think would add a lot to the game. If the guild could not only buy towers to use but also an assault card. The card would be out from the start, just like with guild towers. Also, it could use one of the 2 tower slots from the guild menu so it would be a choice between a tower or an assault card.

If you did this then it would be fine to make a raid boss with a high siege or mortar because the guild could choose to invest in something other than towers.

Had an idea for a new skill which I think could make evolution more fun. Permanent Evolution- basically it would only activate once like valor, but it would permanently evolve a skill like pierce in rupture or legion into brigade. The target it evolves would be random and could be more then one just like the current evolve skills. I’d like any feedback both positive/negative on this.

I have unity development build and it’s kinda annoying having all this text pop up while i play. I downloaded unity so it would load faster at startup but don’t know why it’s the ‘development build’, does anyone know how I can make it normal but still have it downloaded so it can boot up faster?
